Chapter Eleven: The First Step Of Making Someone’s Life A Living Hell…
“Let go of me,” I said calmly.
He snarled loudly and I snarled back.
“Get those damn pointy things off of me. I promise you that if you bind me to you without your permission then I’m going to make every last second of your life with me a living hell. There will be no peace, no children, sex or anything of that nature. You will have to live with the fact that I’m your mate for the rest of your life and you’ll wish that you could’ve mated with someone else,” I snapped.
He exhaled loudly and moved from on top of me. “Dammit woman, what the hell is wrong with you?” he yelled running his fingers through his hair.
Watching him I bit back a burst of laughter. He had no idea of how looked in that instant. He looked like a sexy mad man. It was almost as if he were on the verge of pulling his hair. Good it was working then. I was actually managing to annoy the hell out of him. If he thought this was something then he was in for the time of his life. I wasn’t anywhere near close to making his life a living hell yet. The only thing that I had done was spoken my mind. If that was putting him on the edge than I wondered how much he could actually take.
I folded my arms across my chest my good mood slightly returned. He had no idea what he was in store for. I’d start making him and his brother’s life a living hell immediately. It would be amusing to watch their reactions. They wouldn’t know what hit them. The first goal was to get them to calm down. Sure they’d be suspicious as to why I was suddenly calm but they’d never expect that it had anything to do with messing with their lives. I was going to sit back and observe their daily actions for a while. From there I would proceed to ruin their lives.
“Alright that’s enough for now,” I said. “Geesh you people are all but too easy to rile up. Won’t you calm down? I’m tired of arguing I have a headache. I was in the middle of sleeping and I would like to get back to that.”
He rushed over to me as I laid one hand across my forehead and pretend to sway warily. I bit back another burst of laughter as he fell prey to me. “I feel so lightheaded and woozy,” I said in a low tired voice.
“Are you ok?” he asked his voice of concern.
“I don’t know,” I replied in a soft tone of voice. “After having visions my head always hurts. I need to rest.”
As he picked me up in his arms, I heard Aidan sigh in disgust. I demurely lowered my eyelashes to cover my eyes. If Mikhail saw the amusement in my eyes it would be all over.
“You actually believe her?” Aidan asked in disbelief. “She’s faking! She was just fine and yelling loudly a moment ago. Now her energy is deprived and she’s talking all but too nicely.”
I winced and brought my hands up to my ear. “Ouch,” I said making a whimpering noise. “My head hurts.”
I felt a growl rumble through Mikhail’s chest as he turned with me in his arms and faced his brother. “Will you shut the hell up?” he demanded. “My mate is in pain and you’re only prolonging it.”
“She’s faking—“
He cut him off. “Are you demented or do you not care about her health? She had a vision earlier and she was in the middle of sleeping off that headache when you all came and disrupted her,” he hissed in a low tone of voice.
“We?” Aidan snapped. “We came in after hearing the loud racket that the two of you were making in—“
I opened my eyes just in time to see Mikhail swing his arm outward. Aidan went flying into the hall and Mikhail never touched him. My eyes widened. What the hell had just happened? How had he managed to get him to move across space and gravity without touching him? What the hell was my mate capable of? I looked back down quickly as I felt Mikhail run his hands gently over my forehead. He brushed a strand of hair back gently stroking it and leaned down and kissed my forehead.
