"Although I might be a hot head sometimes, she is keeping me grounded. Grounded in a way I've never experienced before", his eyes traced her figure from afar. She was talking to Mori. "You must know big sis, like you, I never believed in something so trivial as love. All the more if it's the Port Mafia we're talking about. Never did I believe I could find someone here that I would keep so dear to me", he smiled as he watched her, returning his gaze back to Kouyou. He had a serious face. "But she is different, different from people I've met before. She is a force, she is the force that keeps me moving forward. She is fierce and smart, but so gentle at the same time", his expression changed to a sad smile. "When I look at her, I see pain. I see the pain she has gone through. She has so many scars, inside and outside. Yet, she still manages to shine", he lifted his eyes, his blue orbs shimmering. "Remember you once told, a flower born in darkness can only fully bloom in darkness? " Kouyou nodded slightly, though she was sincerely interested in this conversation. "I think that describes her utterly perfect. She is blooming her fullest in the night we are living in. Although she knows what we're doing is cruel and , hell, I sometimes hate my job too, but she, she-", he paused a moment, searching for the right words. "She somehow seems to have grown used to it, even she hates doing these things. She has demons hunting her for what she does, but she keeps fighting them. She is a warrior, she is a lioness. Strong and independent, at the same time graceful and elegant. She is radiant and I want to protect that light. I want to be the fuel to her radiance." Kouyou laughed "Chuuya my dear, you are totally fallen for her, aren't you? Those words out of your mouth" He looked at the women who's taken care of him for almost all his life. He knew he seemed to be out of role while talking. "How could I not?", he said with a big smile. "I'm like a moth, drawn to the light. Fuck. It can't be helped" "Don't fall as a prey to her", the red haired women said half serious. "I'm sorry. I already have, but I'm not regretting it", the executive knew there were still things he didn't know about her, but this wouldn't stop him. She sure was mysterious and he was certain she had secrets not even Mori knew. But also he was sure this light and her fire wouldn't burn him, she would keep him warm throughout the endless dark nights.
