Mermaid Lagoon

It's been about a month since I'm with Peter and the Lost Boys, they're not the friendly type, I don't usually talk to them but when I do they treat me like I'm a threat, which is weird I don't have the intention of hurting anyone.

I promised Peter that I wouldn't try to escape and that I wouldn't hurt the Lost Boys, It seems like he really cares about them, honestly I thought he was heartless, ruthless and evil, maybe I was wrong maybe there is kindness in him.

 He seems sad sometimes, like he is regretting something maybe that something is about him and Rumple. I've noticed that there's anger in them, no not just anger it's also sadness, something happened between them and I'm going to find out what is it.

Today is a normal day in Peter's camp, he is playing his pipe, the Lost Boys are dancing and I'm sitting alone. "Typical! Alone, alone again!" I thought to myself and suddenly Peter sits next to me. But why he never talks to me, he always tells what he wants from me to Felix.

"So, uhm are you enjoying the stay?" he asks smirking. I kept staring at the fire without looking into his eyes. 

"It's fine, I mean I'm fine". I lied, I didn't want to be here. Or maybe I did, I mean the things in the orphanage where pretty bad and here well...uhm...

"It's good to know. Hey I was wondering..." Wait a second, Is he nervous? "...Would you like to go to Mermaid Lagoon with me?" 

"Why?" I said annoyed.

"Oh please hold on your excitement." He said sarcastically."Because I want to show you something!"

"You mean kill me!" he glared at me confused "I know that we can't trust Mermaids, do you think I'm stupid?"

"That was not what I...." 

"No Peter I don't want to go with you." 

" You will come with me! Wait a second...why are you avoiding eye contact?"

"No reason." I said lying once again.

"Are you afraid that if you look me in the eyes you will fall in love with me?" he said, I felt my cheeks really hot. That fucking sly bastard.

"No that's not it...I just...uhm..." 

"Don't worry, no need to explain! Your cheeks are doing that for you" He said smirking." Well Kate one day you will look right into my eyes and you will fall in love with me!"

"In your dreams asshole." I said getting up.

"Okay lets go." He said, he grabbed my arms and put them around his neck, his hands slided down to my hips, he lift me and we started to fly. 

"Peter Pan put me down right now!" I yell digging my nails into his neck, he smirked and pulled me closer.

"Make me." he said laughing maliciously, I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, damn it I really hate heights. He seemed to be enjoyed with my fear, I suddenly felt his hand sliding down, really near my butt.

"Stop it you perv!" I yelled at his face and he smirked and his hand returned to my hip.

In a few minutes we were at Mermaids Lagoon, I still had my eyes close and I was holding him really tight I was so scared that I didn't even notice that we were already at the lagoon.

"Uhm, Kate?"

"What?"

"I'm not complaining, but can you let me go now? We already arrived!" He said, oh this was a really awkward moment! I let him go and I looked around, woah it was beautiful, the water was shinning at the moonlight everything was peaceful I felt safe and...in home...

"Outch! You are a sassy one, aren't you? Look what you did to my neck!" He said rubbing his neck. I got closer and rubbed the red marks in his neck.

"I'm sorry." I said blushing and looking to the ground, he walked towards me and lift my chin with his hand, I didn't look into his eyes I looked away.

"Don't worry about that love. Now come." He said grabbing my hand and we got closer to the edge of the lagoon. He grabbed a conch he whispered something and suddenly a Mermaid with red hair waved us."That's Ariel, she is the only mermaid you can trust, she is going to New Castel get me something,  would you like her to bring you something?" 

"Uhm actually yes. I have my diary in the orphange, I would like it back."

"Well then, as you wish!" He got closer to Ariel and told her something and gave her a bracelet, after that she nodded and dove. He walk towards me and smiled I smiled back. And then I did the most stupid thing ever, I saw a pair of beautiful green eyes...Oh shit!!
