you know after those
few days of the incident.
i tried to approach and
explain.
you swatted me away,
and didn't even want to
hear me out.

at first i was annoyed,
mad even
but then i slowly realised that
you have every right to do so.
i was such a bad girlfriend,
and you deserved better.

however i can't help but think
isn't it still unfair?
everybody gets a second chance,
so why don't i?
