CHAPTER FIVE

Manik stepped closer to Nandini. She was terrified and probably sweating and thinking all the bad consequences.

Nandini's POV

Ayiappa!!! Manik sir mujhe ese kyu dekh rhe hai Ki jaise Ki mujhe kha jayenge.....vese yeh toh hoga hi because of my slap.......is he going to slap me??!!!!

Manik was walking towards her with an anger face and then pull up his hands and........................................

And took a file from the side table behind nandini.

Nandini was standing there all numb she was not in a state of mind to understanding anything.

While Manik took the file and started reading it.

Manik faced Nandini and said: "So Mrs Murthy ur profile is very impressive well I think you are perfect for this job. You are beauty with brains"

While nandini didn't replied anything she was just staring at him.

Manik: "Well......Ms Nandini u can join from tomorrow onwards and I hope you will give your best for this company"

As for nandini she was not replying anything and was just trying to figure out Manik.

Then Manik snaps his fingers in front of her and says smirking at her: "Are you okay Ms Murthy???? I think........u r little bit tensed because of something"

And nandini answers back to Manik(muttering): "No I..i wa...s just thinking about s..omething else and I guarantee you that I will give my 100%"

Manik smiles at her and says:"I m very much sure about this........well then see you tomorrow Ms Murthy and yes about your cabin I will make you see ur cabin tomorrow"

Nandini: "Ya..ok sir........see you tomorrow sir"

Nandini leaves the cabin and here Manik only smirks and seeing his face anybody can predict that he is planning for something evil.

Company's apartment at 8:30pm

Nandini was working with her laptop but she was not concentrating on her work.

She stood up from her bed, closing the laptop and goes to the window. She was soaking all the winds and thinking about her day.

Nandini's POV

Today was such a confusing day.......i mean Maine jo except kiya tha uska opposite hi hua. I thought Manik sir would shout on me and will throw me out of the office but esa toh kuch bhi nhi hua......ulta he behaved with me very nicely. But why.....is something is cooking in his head?????!!!!!!

Uff.....ayiappa its so confusing. But whatever it is he doesn't seems to be that bad.....i cant judge him on the basis of our first meeting......but whatever it is now I will just focus on my career and not on him and his behaviour patterns.

Malhotra mansion at 9 pm

Manik comes out of the bathroom after freshen up and sat in his bed, takes a glass of wine and leans on the headboard and started to smirk and thinking about today's incidents.

Manik's POV

Such a day (took a sip from the glass).......kal I was thinking how to find the girl but now it seems god is with me. She by herself came up to meet me......ohh great!!!! She must be thinking Ki why didn't I said anything and throw her put of the office and surely must have been thought I m a nice person........but (takes a sip of the wine) no Ms Murthy.....i m the devil I m going to ruin you. Throwing you out of the office wouldn't give me that much satisfaction. Now I'll make you suffer.....everyday and every second in front of me......Be prepare Ms Murthy to meet the devil tomorrow (drinks the whole glass of wine)

Screen freezes on his smirking face.
