"I Will Always Love You, Baby"

I waited a lifetime for you,
Begging to up above,
To be found by a boy,
Who I could always love.

And when that boy,
Finally came along,
He promised me forever,
And wrote it in his song.

Our love was art,
Full of perfection,
But when he had to go,
It was only a depression.

Pain grew onto my skin,
Like a parasite,
I couldn't keep my happiness,
As I cry throughout the night.

No one ever knew,
The pain that had begun,
It burned like the hell,
Beating down from the sun.

Baby, you promised,
And I'm trusting you,
That no matter the issue,
You'd understand the pain I went through.
