"Okay so can me and Maddy meet my parents and brother now?"

"Sure Christina"

"Yay let me go tell Maddy"

Maddy p.o.v.

"I really don't think this is a good idea Christina. At least you are family, I'm not and I still smell like a rouge"

"Don't worry they will love you"

"And if they don't?"

"I'll beat them up"

"😳 I don't have any choice do I?"

"Nope"

"Okay but only on one condition"

"What condition?"

"You have a bad habit of when introducing people you spout off everything you know about them so don't go talking about my past okay"

"Don't worry Mads (only Christina calls her that) I wont say anything"

*timeskip*

Hey Sammy I'm nervous can you take over for me?

Omg omg omg something is about to happen

What is it Sammy your normally not this excited about everything except for that one time we were captured that we got a huge amount of meat just before the big ceremony.

Mate mate mate

Oh no I can't have a mate escpecially not Christian's family. Ive already burdened her I don't want to be a burden to my mate as well. I-I can't do this.

"You okay Mads?"

"No I can't do this, I- I just can't"

I run off year flowing freely out of my eyes. It hurts to run from my mate but if I meet him then I won't be able to resist the bond, and I can't be a burden to him.

Christina p.o.v.

Just as I am about to push the door open I see Mads standing there with tears welling up in her eyes.

Sapphire what in the world could be wrong with her?

Remember that one time she told us about what would happen if she met her mate?

*Flashback*

It was really cold and me and Mads were snuggling together to keep warm.

"So Christina what would you do if you found your mate?"

"Well if I found him here as a prisoner I would help him back to my old pack with me, if he was one of our captors I'd try to make him good or reject him. And if he is in another pack then after I escape I'll join him in his pack. What about you?"

"I don't want a mate Christina"

*gasp* "Why not Maddy (when she is serious she uses Maddy's full name) he would love you forever?"

"I would just be a burden to him, or be to weak, nobody would ever like to be my mate."

"No way Mads, everyone would kill to be your mate when they truly got to know you"

"You think?"

"I don't think so, I know so"

*flashback over*

I bet that one of our family member is her mate.She is probably worried about having a mate remember that we had to try really hard to convice her that her mate would love her so if she smelled her mate She is probably scared out of her wits.

Well I still have to go in and greet my family, the only problem is that I smell like Maddy, if one of my brothers is her mate then he could use the smell on me to track her, and she wants to be alone right now.

This is a serious dilemma on one hand my family is expectantly waiting for me. On the other hand my brothers always said they would be protective of their mates and love and cherish her, so whoever is her mate would definitely try to find her, and I don't want that for her, she needs to be alone.

I think we should chase after Maddy, yes it's our family in there but they would understand if we went to comfort a friend.
