The Missing Luna

Chapter 9

Xander p.o.v

Hmm.. Me and Christina's family are in here waiting for her and Maddy to show up but she hasn't come get. I suppose I could go check on them.

Suddenly Christina's younger brother Derrick stands up, looks at us, then decides to tell us "I smell my mate".
I go to the door when I smell Christina's scent along with Maddy's, which means.. Oh no, from what I've seen of Maddy she is scared. When I watched her (not in a creepy way) I saw she was quiet and shy when not with Christina.

It could be that she was scared and Christina took off after her friend.

I suppose that makes sense considering that Maddy was the only friend that Christina had when she was gone all those years.

Derricks wolf is going crazy inside of his mind, try to calm him down and keep him from going after Maddy. Since his wolf is the beta it doesn't appreciate Maddy running from her.

I'll use the alpha voice on him to make him calm down. Once Derrick is in control again then I can explain to him that his sister has gone in search of his mate.

"Derrick calm down so I can tell you what the problem is" I growl.

Derrick immediatly sits down, probably more from wanting to know about his mate then me growling.

I start explaining to Derick how his mate is timid and that she came back with Christina from the rouges

I can tell from the look on his face that he is happy not only that he actually found his mate but his sister was okay as well. I'm 22 and Christina is 21, Derrick is 27 he is the oldest out of her four older brothers. The next oldest are the twins, Jonathan and Nathaniel at age 25. Then the youngest brother Josh at 23. Derrick has been hoping ever since he turned 18 and shifted that he would find his mate, I'm glad for him I know he will take it slow with Maddy the only problem is her letting him in to her life and her heart.

"Can I go after her now please?" Derrick whines. -_- and now he is back to his usual whiney self.

"Sure, I led her to your room so that she would calm down, my suggestions would be talking to her then taking her away from the pack house to get to know her"

"Christina oh there you are" I smile while watching Derrick run out the room after saying thank you to his sister and giving her a hug.

"Oh I missed you my darling girl"

"Come give your old man a hug"

"Oh dearest sister come play with us"

"I missed you sis, you had me worried for so many years.

Christina p.o.v

Oh boy this is going to be a long day.

After finding Mads it took longer than expected to calm her down, I got her walking while she cried and talked and she didn't notice until we stopped at my brothers room. She immediately darted in and fell asleep on his bed, I then proceded to head to the room where my family is, direct Derrick where to go, and have all my family talking at once.

They always do this if you don't remember.

Oh I remember perfectly well, but now is not the time for a trip down memory lane.

"Hey guys"

At those words all my family jump at me at once making me fall over. They seriously need to chill out

*timeskip*

After a long time of catching up I found out that all my brothers meet their mates. Jonathan had Claire, Nathaniel had Samantha, and Josh had Rose. I can't wait to meet them but for now I'm going to sleep.

"Xander?"

"Yes?"

"Can I sleep with you tonight?"

"Sure c'mon in" Xander says with a smile. After that we fall asleep cuddled in each other's arms.
