Listen to "Issues" by Julia Michaels🎵

"Yeah, I've got issues. And you've got 'em too." ~ Julia Michaels

I walk home alone and quick. As soon as I get home, I drop my bag on the floor and crash into the bed. I look up at my slopes ceiling.

It was filled with all of my favourite pictures. There was one with kylie. When we were in 5th grade. What happened to those to kids? Those kids who would believed in bringing a change in the world and those kids who hated fairytales for their unrealistic image that girls have to wait for their prince to come get them to make their dreams come true. Those kids.

The thing I couldn't believe was that I'm not that kid anymore. Neither of us are.

In our teenage years those magical childhood dreams and beliefs are termed as immature and lame. When was the last time we all heard of the 'tooth fairy'?

I glance at my study desk. My camera sits on a couple of books. How long has it been since I've taken a photo? I get up and look at it.

Oh. Wow. It has been stressful this year. Maybe after the finals I can go on a detox. Of stress. High on creativity. Finals are 2 weeks away.
Well.
Maybe a weekend getaway with Cynthia. To the beach. New day, new place maybe? That's a good idea.

I text her immediately :

Creative blocks are more common than you think. They can happen for a reason or none at all. The best way to get your creative juices following. Here are some ways:
•Watch videos or movies
•Read books
•Keep yourself occupied
• Have a strong interest and hobby

Good luck!
