"We're going back to the start"
~ Coldplay6:02 AM, Thursday
I pack my camera, lens, sneakers fairy lights and my crystal headphones. These things, for some vague reason, comfort me and make me feel warm. I've always considered myself a soul traditional hipster. Most people think I'm a hipster 'wannabe' but other hipsters I know tell me I am a hipster but just a huge stereotypical one. With the fairylights and sneakers, i dont think I can argue, really.
Once I've packed all my necessities and 'comfort things', I walk over to my window. I look over to Ryan's window and I signal him. I take my flashlight.
*Flash * *Flash* | Are you there?
I wait, and get a reply.
*Flash**Flash**Flash* | Yes.
*Flash* ... *Flash* ... *Flash* | I have something to tell you.Yikes.
I go downstairs out to the frontyard and sit on the sidewalk.
I hear the door from the other house close. Ryan comes out and sits next to me.
I look at Ryan."What's wrong?"
He looks at me seriously. "Do you know why Kylie wasn't there for the finals week? Why Jen and the rest of their gang doesn't sit with us anymore?"
I blankly stare at him. "It's pretty obvious why they don't want to sit with us. But I have no clue why she took leave."
"Ive got some news, then. As much as I hate gossip, which I truly do, you need to know this."
He takes a long dramatic pause.
"Kylie wrote her finals beforehand. She was going to her aunt's house early. She was granted permission from Ms. Fitzgerald and wrote her final paper, the week before.
"So she's coming back home today. Right now. Her obnoxious squad's planning some party to celebrate the summer since she's back now. Day after on Saturday night."
"So?"
"Brady asked me to tell all of you that Kylie wants you there."
"That's not right."
"Yup. So what do I tell them? They want a confirmation. By tonight at nine"
You know what Ryan? That's a good question.
