CHAPTER ONE
"Leah,its time to get up,Anne and Gemma are coming over for coffee so tidy your room and get ready..."mom never failed to let me know i was lazy and always slept in,whats a girl gotta do around here to get some sleep? I looked at my phone i had 2 missed calls from my careers advisor and a message stating i should call her immediately,my careers advisor is someone who helps me find jobs and try's to get me work experience,i just turned 19 and I've finished school so now i need to find a job i never really thought about what i wanted to do but i have a rough idea!
An hour passed and i was ready and just finishing tidying up my room when i heard a knock on the door,by the sounds of footsteps and greetings i gathered mom had let them in,i walked downstairs to see Anne and Gemma sitting at the table outside in the garden it was middle of summer and it was really hot so we sat out there often.i said hey and gave them hugs and cut some fruit up for us all to share whilst mom made coffee.we all sat outside for a good hour chatting away then all eyes were on me as Anne asked "so then leah i hear you've finished school,do you know what job you'd like to take up"i didn't know what to say i hadn't thought about it i replied with "i want to do something in styling like a stylist or assistant stylist but nothing has come up yet"i sat their with a smile on my face,me and Gemma went up to my room left the moms to talk about,well you know,mom things.
Me and Gemma were just chatting away about what were gonna do this summer and my phone started ringing,it was Haley the careers advisor i was telling you about,i answered hoping to hear some good news but still nothing she said no stylist jobs anywhere are opening up and that i should start to update my C.V.! Gemma noticed i looked fed up,"hey whats up,you look let down?" She said with a concerned look on her face."oh nothing its just now that I've finished school i have to find a job and their aren't any open anywhere,we've talked enough about me so how about you what you doing this summer,going anywhere nice?"i wasn't bothered by what Haley had said i kinda expected it!
"Well me and mom received 4 tickets for the one direction charity concert their doing in a weeks so my moms asking your mom if you two wanna come?"Gemma said.
"Omg are you kidding me I'm gonna see them perform at a one off concert,i cant believe this thank you so much"by this time i had updated my Facebook status and was jumping around my bed with extreme excitement.
Anne and Gemma left about an hour ago and i had just finished having a shower i logged onto twitter to see the one direction boys had taken a selfie and hash tagged it '#goinghome'
Omg their coming home i wonder if ill see harry again,i wonder if he remembers me.by now i was pretty tired so decided to have an early night,i made so tea and said goodnight to my mom and little brother Luke,dad wasn't home yet he works really long hours on mondays.before i knew it i had drifted off into what seemed like such a long but well deserved sleep.
