Five: What's The Point?
W.O.W: "Maybe there's something you're afraid to say or someone you're afraid to love, or somewhere you're afraid to go. It's gonna hurt. It's gonna hurt because it matters." —John Green

Valeria's P.O.V.
"Nancy, the dinner was amazing." My mother complimented Esteban's mother's cooking as we were all sitting in the living-room now.
"Thank you, Hailey. It's my favorite Italian recipe." Nancy said in a tone where we all knew my mother and her would begin to gossip.
"Well, Esteban why don't you come with Adam and I to discuss the new projects for the companies." Lucas said and Esteban quickly stood up from his seat next to me to follow behind our fathers.
And just like always, I was left alone. The guys had gone into the office to talk business, while the ladies were left to gossip—only I didn't fit in well with the ladies because I never liked to gossip. The only out casters were Sebastian and I, because he didn't fit in well with the guys either.
I heaved a sigh before quietly standing from my seat. "Please excuse me, I think I am going to go to the garden to get some air." I politely excused myself as I made my way out to the garden.
Lucas and Nancy had an enormous backyard. They had trees around the house that gave it a more nature look. I absolutely love being out in their garden. I walked around their backyard— taking in the smell of outdoors that came in contact with my nose every time the wind blow. It was slightly cold outside but it wasn't cold enough where a sweater was necessary.
I took a seat in the chairs they had in the backyard and I slowly closed my eyes. I took in the enjoyable moment of peace with nature, but the moment was quickly interrupted when I felt a ball hit my feet.
I opened my eyes to look down at the familiar blue and white soccer ball by my feet. "You gifted me that soccer ball for my birthday, remember?" Sebastian's voice rang and I looked up to see him walking in my direction.
"I do not recall." I said standing up from my chair and fixed my posture.
"You don't recall?" He chuckled as if he was mocking me. "Well, you must have a very bad memory, because it seems to me that you have forgotten how to smile too."
"I remember exactly how to smile. It is your presence that takes away my efforts to smile." I shot back at him coldly.
"Ouch, I'm hurt." He said faking to feel pain in his heart. "You know what else hurts? It hurts that you can't see me like the friends we once were. What changed?" He said, his tone suddenly changing into a serious one.
"Nothing changed." I said crossing my arms in front of me as I took a step away from him.
"Except that you're a married women now." He chuckled as if he found the statement humorous.
