Emily woke up. She was laying on a damp cold floor. Her head felt like she had just smacked it against a wall and there was ringing in her ears. She finally fully opened her eyes and saw a dingy room. It was cold dark and the worst thing of all, she had no idea where she was. She started to shuffle across the floor towards the wall and she sat up against the wall fearing for her life.

For the next few days she sat there waiting for something to happen. Every day a hand would drop her a small amount of water and food off and it would come back until the next day, whilst back in rosewood little did she knew the whole town was searching for her high and low. Her friends and family were so worried about her but days were going by and there wasn't much progress in finding her. It was starting to dawn onto the friends that they might never see sweet Emily again. They aren't even sure she is alive at this point.

1 year later

Today is Emilys funeral. Her body hasn't been found but the police say she is most likely dead. The girls and Ezra Caleb and Toby can't believe that she is gone. Never to be seen again. Their sweet Emily is gone. Alison cried the most. She had finally told Emily how she felt and they were planning a life together and it ended so quickly.

The funeral was short. No one wanted to make a big deal about it. They didn't want to think of their friend being murdered by A.D. They wanted to remember her as the girl she used to be, before everything happened.

Meanwhile back in the dank cabin Emily is laying on the floor, shivering cold. She has bruises and cuts all over her body from things that she would rather forget. A newspaper is thrown at her and the person that gave it to her left.

She picked up the newspaper and started to read it. On the front cover it read

"Emily Fields - The teen that went missing and was never found." She then read on and it said " her family and friends have decided to call of the search for her and stop the investigation. She has now been presumed dead and her case has been closed, although we may never know what really happened to the girl that disappeared into thin air."

She started to cry. Her family and friends have given up on her. They have left her for dead like they don't even care. She immediately ripped the page up and threw it everywhere screaming as she did so. Emily knew that from now on her life was going to change, she didn't know what to do.
