Getting Help From Alex

He was giving us a weird look. I took Alex and my brother's hand and took them to my room. As soon as we were inside the room, I locked the door. I saw Alex smirking at me and I gave him a jokingly disgusted look.
"Babe is everything OK?" I knew Alex could sense my fear. "Ya I guess Alex. I have something to tell you."I told him everything that had happened. I didn't expect him to believe me though but he shockingly did. My brother was sitting right beside me. There was suddenly a knock at the door. "Who is it?" Alex asked. No reply. I hugged my brother while Alex slowly opened the door to find no one outside. I was scared to death. Alex came up to me and hugged me. He kept assuring me that everything will be fine.
I heard the door bell ring. It would probably be my parents, I thought and went downstairs followed by Alex. Mom came in first and kept the groceries on the coffee table. Dad hugged Alex and they sat down in the dining room with us.
We were laughing around having a good time when all of a sudden Alex pulled me into the other room. "What's wrong Alex?" "There was someone sitting right next to you Ash. Do you have a picture of Jack?" I nodded my head and went to parent's room to get the album. I showed him the picture from the album which shockingly was still there. "It was him Ash. He was sitting right beside you." He slowly hugged me and told me that he will protect me from anything that tries to harm me. I heard my mom calling for us as the lunch was served. Alex had his eyes on me the entire time, I could feel it.
It was soon time for him to leave. He lives 2 houses away from mine, so we visit each other whenever we want ."Take care Ashley." He said bye to everyone, kissed my cheek and left. As soon as the door closed, I felt someone hold my hand. It was Jack. He gave me a sweet smile and soon faded away.
I went to my room and soon fell asleep. At like 1:30 in the morning my phone rang, I picked up. It was Alex. "you OK? I just wanted to make sure you were safe." "I'm fine Alex. Thank you so much."We talked for like an hour until I heard a knock more like someone banging at my bedroom door. Alex asked me to check while he was on his way here. I slowly went to my bedroom door and opened it to find no one. I heard the doorbell ring and rushed downstairs. Without even seeing who it was I hugged him, luckily it was Alex. I kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly. I went to my parents and told them that I was going for a late night walk with Alex. We were soon walking down the street with our fingers intertwined. Suddenly my phone started ringing . It was an unknown number. Alex asked me to pick up. "Hello Ashley."a voice came from the phone. "Hello. Who is this?" "It's Jack, dear. Hello to you too Alex." We were shocked. "Alex, I need to have a bit of a personal conversation with Ashley. So if you could please......." Alex snatched the phone from me and hung up on him. He hugged me tightly. I kept my phone in my pocket and we started walking home. I also told Alex about the building and he said that we will go there the next morning
