The Blackouts

The Building

I woke up the next morning to an empty bed and a note that said 'Be ready by 10,babe. We are going to check the building'. I glanced at the clock, it was '8:15'. I got out of my bed, took and shower and changed into some jeans and a tanktop.
I came out of my close and heard my bedroom door creak open. It was Alex. He came up to me and gave me a hug, "We should leave now, princess." We left the house as soon as possible.
It was about 10:15, we were start in front of the main gate of that creepy building. Alex held my hand tightly as we entered through the gate. As soon as we entered the building, I heard someone say, "You shouldn't have come here dear ones." "Who is it?", Alex asked. "Jack, my son." I was shook but i put managed to gain some courage and asked,"What do you want from us, uncle?" "It's been so long since I heard you call me uncle." "You're not alive, are you?Why are you doing this?"Alex asked. "I'm trying to protect her, Alex. I'm not the one harming her." "Who is then? Uncle, please tell me what is happening?"I asked. "You will know soon. You have to leave now. I don't live here alone if they hear, they will kill you. Please leave.", he said. I heard footsteps coming towards our direction. Soon everything went black. I opened my eyes to find myself in my bedroom with Alex by my side. "Alex, did you face it too? It was really, not a dream, right?" "Yes Ash, it was real. I felt it too.", he replied. Alex called up his mom and told her and he would be staying the night at my place. We both changed in to something comfortable.
I have some of Alex's clothes in my closet and he has some of mine. I told my parents about my relationship with Alex. They seemed rather happy. The rest of the day was amazing. We had our first date. We spent the day together. It felt perfect until I found a note on my bedroom that said 'Stay away from him. You're mine. I won't think twice before slitting his throat." I was shivering by now.
I showed the note to Alex and told him that we should break up but he seemed rather unimpressed by my decision and disagreed. "Alex, I can't let anything happen to you. You mean a lot to mean." I was crying by now. Alex held me in his arms while I cried. "Nothing will happen to me, baby. Don't worry." He slowly pulled away from the hug and kissed me lightly.
It was about 5 in the morning and Alex had to leave. He kissed my forehead, "Bye Ash. I'll come over after lunch if that's okay." I nodded smiling and he left the house. I was feeling so tired. I was up all night watching movies with Alex. I went up to my room and lay down on my bed. I suddenly saw something move from the corner of my e he. I glanced in that direction to see a shadow of man. I quickly texted Alex. There was someone inside my closet. A man.
Suddenly, my bedroom door opened. My brother ran inside my room and hugged me tightly. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "There is someone in my room. A man." I turned around to see that the shadow was not there anymore.
I took up some courage and checked the closet but no one was there. I sat down with my brother in my bed and texted Alex, letting him know that everything was fine now . It was gonna be a long day ahead.......................
