I say that they were nervous was an understatement.
My eyes were narrowed as I slowly sipped my drink, watching everyone of their moves.
My group had been acting weird ever since they found me. They were silent.
Too silent.
They were tense.
Too tense.
They were plain driving me crazy.
Too crazy.
I watched as they seemed to be communicating through their eyes.
Or.......
I gasped pushing back in my seat. They all looked at me. Only Chance was absent since he was currently talking with an adult about Night Academy.
I knew what these people were hiding.
I looked at Carol accusingly.
"Why didn't you tell me you were all already connected?" I said calmly, like in a second I was about to explode.
They all shrank back a bit.
This whole time they could speak through each other in their mind link and they didn't bother to tell me?
It wasn't they part about they mind link that made me mad, it was that they had seemed to fail to mention it.
I was shaking a bit, really wanting to shift.
Even right now I knew that this was a stupid matter to get mad about, but I guess I was just trying to release my anger about the whole 'my secret is known throughout the whole school because of a certain hated teacher.'
I stood up so quickly, I almost knocked the table over. That got me some unwanted attention.
I looked at all of them in disgust. I'm just mad okay! That's why I'm going to leave and prevent further fighting.
Turning around I began my stomping out of there.
Dramatic? Yes.
Do I care? No.
I could feel my wolf begging to come out. My eyes were slowly shifting colors, from blue to black. I knew this from experience that whenever I got mad, my eyes would turn coal black.
I just wanted to be left alone.
Breaking a wall wasn't enough. I felt the strange need to.......hurt something.
I shook my head.
No, bad Eva!
Don't hurt anything! I chanted in my head knowing that I would regret hurting something later.
Let's just say I was still mad.
Mad at Garson.
Mad at Megan.
Mad at the damn wound in my shoulder that was hurting really bad right right.
Like it was burning. Like someone had put a hot iron on a open wound.
I threw open the door, whispering coming form behind me, and so many eyes piercing through my skull that I had a major headace.
That was around the time when I began sweating, the room becoming hotter and hotter. But I guess it was me since no one else was experiencing this.
