It was about 5 in the morning I was getting ready for the war, I pulled up my light and thin trousers, they were a blue made from polythene so it tears easier when I shift, then I put on my armour vest, a big one so when I shift it stays on, everyone else was getting ready so I left the room and went to one of the windows in the main hall, I stared out into the forest looking to where we were going to fight till the last side stands, then I looked over too where mine and Sophies house. I really missed her. footsteps were coming up behind me I didn't move.

"Hey Conor, how you feeling?"Jack asked

"Yeah im ok I was just thinking" I returned

"Thinking can be dangerous especially with someone as smart as you"

"Thanks Jack" I said turning towards him and grabing his hand bringing him in for a shoulder bump.

The claxon went off for us to line up at the gates.

Me and Jack walked down the hall and into the main commune area with everyone else, jack stood at the front looking into the crowd.

"Today we fight, for peace and for revenge. We will show them how we really do things in the forest, remember not all of us will return here but we will accept our fate like the men and women we are and face our fear of death in the face" everyone started cheering and whistling, Jack is a great motivational speaker and can move crowds easily, im glad he is my boss and friend.

"Now we march out of this building and strike our enemies with the element of suprise" and with that we all started to walk out the gates st a certain pace and marched into the forest to our destination.

We got the the mountain and looked over the soon to be battle field, I can see the two sides charging at each other so we did the same in a three way collision. we started running down the slope the orcs and ogres collided with blood splattering everywhere from heads being chopped off and limbs decapitated and torn off, just before we reached them we all shifted into our wolf I was one of the biggest, a golden brown with lines of white over me. Then we collided with the oppositions and started tearing heads off, they didn't see us coming because we killed half the forces without anyone noticing, then it wad a full out war, I saw jack take out three orcs in five seconds, then I took out two ogres almost getting hit with an axe.

then I got rushed by a group of ogres, they hit me straight on the head,

I was being dragged into the forest and into a cave, everything went black and I passed out.

The battle had finally came to an end, bodies scattered around the forest, blood staining the grass and trees. Jack and the rest of the werewolves stood in the middle. Jack couldn't find me in the group. "CONOR!" Jack shouted out. no answer came.

"Everyone look around the bodies and find Conor" jack ordered the group, he called out a searh party to search the woods for Conor.

The next day has come, the reports were on Jacks desk, Jack sat down and began reading the list of the dead, then looked at the search parties report. it read they found no sign of Conor. Jack dropped the the paper and rubbed his eyes seeming quite sad about recent events. Jack started writing letters like they do in the military saying they were a good man or woman and all that stuff. then it came to Conors. Jack thought he had to do this one personaly.

about two hours later Jack walked down to Conors house, Jack knocked on the door loudly seeming as it is big house to make sure Sophie could here. The door opened to see Sophie and her belly pocking out of her shirt "Hey Jack why you here?" Sophie asked.

"It's about Conor, he has um, gone missing in action"

Sophie just broke down in tears crying and running onto the couch with her head in her knees, "Sophie, we are doing everything we can to find Conor" Jack said comforting Sophie. He stood up and left the house.

The next day Sophie was rushed into Hospital and gave birth to a baby boy, he had Conors eyes and Sophies nose, hes name was Ryder.

A few days later Sophie walked into the kitchen and found a note on the counter, it read

My dearest love, I am here watching over you and our baby Ryder, I cant come back because of the ogres, they are hunting me, I'm now an assassin hiding and killing them off to keep you safe. I love you Sophie forever <3

Conor

Soohie broke down into tears again more of joy but also sadness.
