It was now morning, I was still in Sophies bed but she wasn't there,

where was she. I got up and put some clothes on then walked around her house to see where she got to, I found her in the living room talking to her farther, I didnt go in I just listened.

"A warewolf, interesting" thats her farther, his voice is deep and sounds very stern. "I know, he's amazing in every way" Sophie said chuckling. "Hahahaa you've all grown up my little angel, when he wakes up me and him can talk about some things" his laugh was very deep and booming and he wanted to talk I wonder what about.

This was the time I decided to walk in and greet them both. I walked in and gave Sophie a kiss "morning babe, and mr?"

"Thomson, but call me Bill" so Bill was his name.

"Bill got it" I said shaking his hand.

"When did you start calling me babe?" Sophie asked

"Just now, Is that ok?" I said

"Yeah it's great" Sophie said

"Well I wanted to talk about some things with you Conor if that's ok?" Sophies father asked wanting to talk, I started to get nervous wondering what he wants to ask.

"Sure that'd be ok" I said trying not to shake

Sophie left the room to give me and her dad some time to talk.

"So what do you want to talk about?" I asked wanting to know

"Protect her, at all costs. This world has many more creatures other than vampires and warewolfs, things you've only seen in books" Sophies father was tense but assertive while he talked, I can tell he was a good dad. better than mine. "Since Sophie wants to live with you im organising her a place to stay, it's under construction down maliy road, it's for her and you too share, not only will it be beautiful but will have traps for protection, the only thing it wont protect against is ogres and giants, when the house is complete I will tell you so u can show her on her 117th birthday when she gets her elemental powers of Fire bending and electricity. Please protect my baby" her father finally finished, it was actually interesting to hear that things such as ogres exist. "I would have done that anyway sir, and one thing do u have a book on these creatures, so I know what to expect" I said wanting to know more about these creatures.

"Thank you son, and the book, I have lying around over here somewhere" Sophies father said getting up and looking for the book.

once he found it, it was quite dusty, he gave it a blow and dust flew everywhere."Here we are, the book of mystical creatures, it will teach you about every known mythical creature that exists and ehat to do when encountered" he said handing me the book, it was very big I mean very big like 3000 pages at least, it'll be fun to read though.

"Thank you sir, I will be reading this a lot"

"Good and thank you for protecting my daughter"

"Of course sir anything for her and you"

"You're a good man Conor she's lucky"

"no I'm the lucky one"

we both sat there laughing when Sophie came in smiling to see her two favourite guys in the world getting along.

"Ah Sophie it's about lunch time do you want anything?" Sophies father asked

"I want some bear blood" sophie said looking at me.

"I'm afraid we dont have any" Sophies dad said

"Dont worry give me 30 mins" I said running outside

Sophies dad and Sophie followed in suit

"what you going to do?" Sophies father asked.

"Hunt" I said, and with that I turned around and changed form time seemed to go slowley while transforming, I bet I look awesome I thought.

Running through the forest looking for one thing. a bear. they're hard to come by in these parts, so I ran all the way to the mountain and climbed al the way to the top to see what I could see. I looked over the edge at the top scaning the forest for anything, I see a bear, he was big, probably a grizzly, now finding my target I dashed straight towards it leaping off the edge and landing in a role, running at full speed, nothing will survive. I was gaining on my target quickly.

then I heard a roar from behind, it was far away but loud, probably a bear, but turning around to see what it was resulted in concluding it was something else. A giant, on the mountain I was on, I must have disturbed it but now it's lying down phew no giant fight happening any time soon.

I got to the bear and went for a clean neck bite. a clean strike, the bear died instantly leaving me to now carry it back to the house, I wasnt to far away so got up on my hind legs and dragged the bear to the house. i must have been quick because the sun hardly moved from where it was when I got to the house in saw Sophie and Bill standing there with red eyes and their fangs out as soon as they saw the bear.

I put it down in front of them and then both dug in, they must have been hungary because the bear seemed to shrivel up.

"That was really good, thank you Conor" Both of then said simultaneously. "RROOAARRRRR" the giant was awake and not far from the house, every footstep made the ground shake, I opened the book to the page of giants, their weak parts are their ankles and necks.

I guess it's time to fight a giant.
