Kill me sweetly
It wasn't supposed to be this way,
The light of love had already risen in my life.
But it crept upon me,
Like a tiger in the dark
And grabbed a hold of me.
Chaotic & confusing
You hold me with one glance
I whisper your name to the night
I turn to leave
Knowing,
To stay will only bring me pain
Yet,
Kill me sweetly one more time
I have been stripped of innocence
I have hurt the trusting
Never once did they see the threat
I shouldn't be here without you
Knowing it's wrong
But feeling, oh, so right
Chaotic & confusing
You hold me with one glance
I whisper your name to the night
I turn to leave
Knowing,
To stay will only bring me pain
Yet,
Kill me sweetly one more time
You tell me that you love me
That this is okay
This is Destiny
But why do I have to lose,
In order to gain?
I want to make things right
Logic has gone
And left me without you
I feel like I should stay
But I must go back to where I belong
I turn to leave,
