Poetry is how you'll never forget the small joys someone gave you.
Poetry is loving someone's smile when they don't think they're attractive,
Or don't like the color of their hair.
Poetry is the pain you tuck away under your skin because just because it's killing you doesn't mean it should be seen.
Poetry is the way you want to cry because you feel related to.
Poetry is having a place to go to feel heard.
Poetry is having a heart so full & smile so genuine that people see nothing else in you.
Poetry is blind.
Poetry is the way you want to photograph someone doing something basic How they always do,
Just so you can capture the sight,
Then stopping yourself.
Poetry is looking forward to seeing someone.
