Chapter 8: Officially Secret

Ashley's POV:

I'll never forget that again. Kissing your best friend TWICE is just weird. My stomach got butterflies again and again and again. When I look at her, the butterflies just increase. We give each other some smiles but don't really talk. They just filmed again. We both don't have a scene yet. This scene was with Mona and I don't really know who because I keep looking at her.

"What happened with the two of you?" I hear Tyler whispering. I could feel he was smiling.

I don't reply yet. I was just looking at the ground. I'm panicking. What do I say to cover up something?

"Uh... we just... talked. That's all." I say. It looks like he fell for it though.

"What did you talk about?" He says even more excitedly and he props his head on his hand, showing me his stupid face that would make you super annoyed.

"Nothing. Just. Life. About life, yeah." I say a little nervously. He laughs and looks at Shay. Then looks back at me.

"You guys are really cute. OTP. It's just a great ship. Anyways, I pray that you can handle things well with Shay." He says.

"Yeah sure thanks."

Shay's POV:

I need to ask her already. If not now then soon. I think she's not yet ready though. We change sets because we were gonna film in a dark place. It was still morning but they actually did a great job making it look like night. The 5 of the girls discover some other A clues. While filming, there was a part where I had talk to Hanna/Ash. Awkward at first but then got the hang of it We filmed this part several times because of some bloopers; one where I accidentally tripped but got caught by Ashley. We both laughed it out.

Filming ended.

"Now that's a wrap! Okay everyone get your beauty sleeps cause tomorrow we have to film much longer." Marlene said.

Nooo. I'm already tired and we would film even longer tomorrow?! Ugh. I get dressed into more comfy clothes. Then I leave the WB Lot. I go home and rest. I remember Sammy.

"SAMMY?" I shout.

"Yeah?" She replies.

"You still there? I want a drink." I say.

"Okay I already know what you want." She says. Of course she does. She knows what I want hot chocolate.

"THANKS." I shout again.

When I check my phone to see social media and stuff, I see that I have a new text message.

It's from Ashley.

My heart races. I need to chill. Phew okay.
I open to read it and it says:

What are you doing this weekend?

Ooh. Is she asking me out? It's still Tuesday and now she's already asking what I'm doing on Saturday & Sunday.

Idk. Maybe staying at home.

I replied after a while. I wait for her text. The speech bubble with the 3 dots makes me feel nervous with what she's about to say.

Can we go out? I know it's a weird question but I just wanna have a date with you already.

Aww she's so cute! Of course I would go! I would never turn down any offer my best friend would give. Is she still my friend though?

S: Sure! When and where are we going?

A: Oh about that. I'm not yet sure. Haha. I just wanted to ask if you're free. Anywhere you want to go. I want you to decide.

S: What? You didn't think of a place yet? Hmm. Where can we go where there's a few people who could recognize us...? What about that Italian restaurant down the street?

A: Great, we could go! I mean there's pizza and all... what time? Should I pick you up? Or should you?

S: I'll be the one to pick you up. Probably at 8:00. And it's a classy restaurant. So probably not that much pizza.

A: Aw man! I want pizza. But that's fine. So it's settled then? Date at Saturday.

S: Yeah. See you!

A: See you too. ;)

I smile at her text messages. She's so cute. That's why I love her so much.
