We ride a short distance to his house which is HUGE! I try my best to contain my excitement as he opens the door to his lovely home. Then he shouts " I'm home!" And 3 little girls run down the spiral staircase squealing and when they get to the bottom they run and jump in his arms and give him a hug. His sisters must really love him. Then all 3 sets of their eyes turn to me. " who is this?" One of them asks as she points at me. " that's Clove." He says with a grin on his face. " hi." I say. " is she your girlfriend or somethin?" Another one asks in a really southern accent. " you'll find that out later." He says. Then all three of them walk through a doorway and as soon as they're out of site I hear them squealing " Mommy! Cato has a girlfriend!!!" Then a woman who I think is his mom walks into the room we are in. She stares at me and walks in a circle around me. Then Cato says " Mom, this is Clove." Then without even paying attention to him she asks me a bunch of random questions like: " what's your favourite subject?" And " how old are you?" I answer them all politely and then she drops a bomb. " Do you really love Cato?" She asks without hesitation. " yes ma'am." I say surely. " well then, I hope you like steak!" She says. Then Cato escorts me to the table. While we eat he talks about his dead father, and how great he was. Turns out he died shortly after the three girls were born. Then he tells me that the three girls are triplets and that they are Lucy's age. " do you know my sister, Lucy?" I ask them. " ya she is our best friend!" They all say at the same time. " Well, I'm glad that she made such wonderful friends!" I say. The rest of the night we talk and eat. When dinner is over I say " thank you so much Mrs. Hadley! It was delicious!" " you're very welcome!" She says with a smile. Around 9:00 Cato takes me home but before we leave all three of his sisters, Lily, Eleanor, and Willow, run up and hug me and Willow whispers " you are already part of the family." In my ear. Then I kiss her little forehead and we walk out the door. Since my house is only a few houses down we decide to walk. When we get to the door Cato says " I love you." And he kisses me full on the mouth! When we break apart I say " I love you too." And before I walk in the door I whisper " sweet dreams." In his ear and give him a kiss on the cheek. Then I walk in. Since it's pretty late everyone has gone to bed. So I creep upstairs and fall asleep after I put on some PJ's and lay down in the soft bed. While I sleep I have a dream of me and Cato getting married.
