Hello, My name is Delia but some people call me Deels (mainly Patsy). I have lived at Nonnatus for almost two years now; I moved in because I had a terrible cycling accident and my mother took me back to Wales. Luckily I got better quickly. I came back to London and Sister Julianne offered me a bedroom as a lodger.

I was born in Pembrokeshire in Wales and I  lived in Tenby until I was 18, when I got a place at the Royal London Nursing Collage to follow my dreams of helping people and saving lives. Mam wasn't so keen on me leaving Pembrokeshire let alone Wales altogether. She wants me to settle down and find a nice man to have children with but that's not the life for me. I need to be in a big city surrounded by people I don't know.

Unlike the others at Nonnatus- I am not a midwife, I worked on male surgical but it was killing me so I have moved to Midwifery. Although I am still in training I have seen so much already and hopefully I will become a midwife at Nonnatus when I graduate.

Pats got back from Hong Kong recently and I feel like my heart is whole again. Patsy is everything I live for, words can't describe the love I feel for that redhead. In my eyes she has no flaws, well maybe one; I wish she wouldn't smoke. It's like kissing a coal brick but still it's part of Patsy and I wouldn't change it for the world.
