A scream echoed in the room, the wolves ears ringing. The house was silent besides the screams and cries of the girl with tears streaming down her face.
Her brunette hair was matted to her forehead as beads of sweat trickled down on her body.
" It hurts." She panted as a contraction ceased, a sigh of relief left her chapped lips.
Celeste Hale was in an unbearable amount of pain, a pain which was indescribable not just physically but emotionally. She was supposed to do this with her fiancée, the father of her child. This was suppose to be the happiest time of her life, yet she was alone.
Her twin brother sat beside her, holding her hand, squeezing it encouragingly, she didn't have to do this alone as she kept telling herself, she had him.
Peter Hale maybe a arrogant, cocky bastard and later in life he may even become psychotic but his family was everything to him especially Celeste.
" I know young one. But it shall be over soon." Talia spoke with a soft voice as she patted a wet cloth on her forehead. " Soon you will have a pup."
The girl smiled at her sisters comforting words even if it didn't last long, as another wave pain erupted in her body.
She cried, as she felt the need to push. " I need to push. I need the pup out."
Talia nodded, as she watched the doctor talk her younger sibling through the procedure. Peter squeezed her hand one last time.
Celeste pushed, her head tilted forward, screams leaving her lips, her breath uneven.
Silence engulfed the room, the only sounds was the pants of mother and the cries of the baby girl that was just born a few moments ago.
The mother laughed, her heart swelled with love at the sight of her infant. The babe was wrapped in a cream blanket, her name embroidered on the corner.
She was handed to her mother, the woman kissed her forehead also inhaling the scent of her pup.
" She looks like you Celeste." Talia spoke admiring the baby, Peter laughed causing the girls to glare at him.
" What? She looks like a potato." The glare got meaner, he held his hands ups. " A cute potato."
The girls laughed, the babe wrapped its little hand around her mothers finger, the mothers brown eyes gazing down at the beauty with a destiny so great.
" Welcome to the world, Violet Hale."
