She pulled up outside their spot. The rain was now battering the ground as it fell from the clouds.

A sigh left her lips as she got out the car, her boots touching the damp ground. Slamming the door to the vehicle, caught his attention.

The man looked up, he was drenched, cold and saddened but she was just pissed.

" What?" Her angelic voice called out, she was a mere steps away from him and all he wanted to do was wrap his arms around her body and never let go.

" I want to see her." She scoffed, rolling her eyes at the demand. " I have a right to see her."

" You lost the right when you choose her." Celeste spat, venom in her tone.

" Celeste she is my daughter."

" Chris your a hunter. You hunt those who hunt you. You won't be involved in her life, I know that and you know that. You move, you set up a new life and then your off again and during those times your hunting wolves, your hunting my kind."

" I would never hurt you nor her, she is my daughter I couldn't do that Celeste. I can't kill my own flesh and blood or the woman I love."

" Not even if Gerard told you too?" She questioned as she stepped forward slightly. He didn't answer, he was silent. " Goodbye Chris."

Celeste walked back to the car leaving the man with tears in his eyes, her heart broke, she loves him and he loved her but she couldn't put her child at risk, she was the priority.

Grabbing her bag from the passenger seat, she grabbed a picture of her daughter.

" Chris! Wait!"

Turning away from his car, he turned back to the wolf, hope in his eyes. " Here. This a picture of her after she was born. Have it."

He took the picture, his eyes widening at the little girl, his own flesh and blood. Before he could get out a word, Celeste was already in her car and driving out of their spot.

The man groaned as he felt a pressure on his chest, a giggle filtering into his ears.

A tired smile reached his lips as his eyes fluttered open capturing the little girl he calls his daughter.

" Good morning Violet." The baby gurgled and rolled off him to get to her mother. He watched as his daughter began prodding her mothers cheek.
