Virgil had been captured by the dragon witch and Roman has set off to save him it wasn't very long before he saved Virgil. How ever he sacrificed himself to save the person he loved, the person who didnt even know he loved them. He knew it wouldn't be long before the spell kicked in to start ending his life. He went to the living room of Thomas's house and told every one what was going to happen.

Romans POV

Logan, Patton ,Virgil

I summoned them all and Thomas was already here

" yeah kiddo what is it you need?" Patton asked cheery as ever it's sad to think I'm going to be the one to take that away.

" Well you know how Virgil was captured by the dragon witch?" I started

"Yeah " Patton Logan and Thomas replied Virgil just looked down

" well in order to save him I had to sacrifice some thing"

"and that would be ?" Logan asked intrigued

"My life ..." I said so quietly no even knowing that they even heard me

"WHAT ROMAN NO" Virgil said guilt and worry taking over his eyes

Virgil actually cared that's uncommon. I thought about how I've always loved him and how much my love for him really affected me knowing that I would risk ending my life just to know I saved his knowing that he would live and how now I'll never be able to love him

"is there any way to prevent it? How will it happen " Patton asked slightly panicked

"I am going to turn to stone from the feet up. And not that I know of...im sorry I just couldn't let Virgil die" I said looking down.

"Why? " Virgil said quietly not looking at anyone

"B-because Virgil i-i just couldn't" I stuttered not looking at him

As I said that I noticed all eyes were on my feet  I took a breathe and looked down my feet that were now stone I couldn't walk. Looks like I'm parishing  here

“ Roman your feet no this can't be happening” Virgil side of fear and guilt clouding his beautiful eyes and takin over his handsome face

He ran up and hugged me I was surprised but accepted the hug. Everyone else joined in Virgil was crying quietly I really love him maybe I'll ask him to be mine before I die so I can leave this world know if he loved me back or not.

Thy time skip to the stone is just now reaching his shoulders and inching up his neck

Still Romans POV

Everyone has left except Virgil the stone is now inching its way up my neck it's moving a bit faster now but I'm ok with that I'm about to tell Virgil how I feel

“ Virgil?” I asked

“ Yeah Roman?” He responded

“ I have to tell you something important before I go…” I said keeping my eyes on the floor

“I'm listening” he said giving me his full attention putting his phone down

“I-i love you Virgil I always have. I know we may fight but I've never been able to dislike You.”

Roman no-no don't die i-i love you to “ he started sobbing

Virgil's POV

I was sobbing at this point Romans was almost completely stone because of me. It's all my fault. he told me he loves me I've loved him for so long. By the time I look back at him the stone is just finishing turning the last bit of his hair to stone. He's gone. I walk closer to him almost pressing put chests against each other I look up at him and caress his cheek as I slowly leaned in to kiss his cold stone lips. I close the gap between us and pull away. Nothing. He was still stone. Guess true loves kiss couldn't save him this time. Our lips still inches apart I look down starting to cry again my hand on his stone cheek that was once soft. “I love you to Roman “ I whisper and pull away completely and turn around walking to my room I shove my hands in my pockets trying not to cry. As I start hearing cracking sounds behind me then something shattering and what sounds like pieces of stone hitting the ground. I start sobbing thinking Romans stone body shattered and now there's no getting him back. As that thought ended I was spun around and kissed back and saw Roman. Alive. I kissed back and pulled away “h-how?” I asked quietly tears streaming down my face “you Virgil. True loves kiss” he said kissing me again
