Day in the Life of a Snake.

Morning

Zeus stirred, he didn't like waking this early but his human was awake and ready to leave the room. He swept his gaze over the room before shoving his head into his coils. The girl flicked his day-time light on and left the room. Once his eyes adjusted he popped his head up. Being nocturnal he just forced sleep to come again.

The human thumped in her loud steps shaking the room. She looked into his cage and left. Zeus grogilly slithered down the tree and went to drink, once done he curled up in his hut letting sleep take him again.

A smell attack Zeus... RAT! He thought happily as he lifted his head. The human dropped the rat in his tank and walked away. Zeus ate it quickly and went for sleep once more... Later, after The humans had went to a sleep he uncoiled and left his hut. He looked around and started the make sure there was no animals other than him in his cage. He then attempted to get out, he had been trying but he couldn't get past the 'climbing the wall' part. Perhaps being with the human was OK. He concluded and climbed up his tree, in need of a good nights rest after a long day of napping.
