"Why does this have to be so difficult!!!" I yelled as I thought about how to approach this battle. The megazord was a decent bit larger than my dragon. I drove my dragons drill tipped tail into the ground, making a deeply gouged hole in the sanded earth. The dragon kicked at the sand, sending dunes into the air as it's curved claws picked up the fine grains and tossed heaps into the air.
I stuck out my zords arms and let loose a barrage of missile fire from the robots finger tips. As the missiles soared through the air, curved claws took their place.
The missiles tore through the air with a scream that could split ear drums. Eight missiles hit against the chest of the megazord and set it tumbling. Two more wound their way through the air and hit the mountain behind the robots. Quinn's tiger looked at its fallen comrade and snarled. It jumped at my chest, razor claws extended.
My dragon stuck out its arms and caught Quinn by the throat.
The tiger clawed at my dragons arms, flaring my own arms with scraping pain. I reeled back and threw the white zord onto a struggling megazord, sending them both to the ground.
"Can't you see I'm doing this to help! I have not once talked about getting the Zeo Crystal for Rita!" The dragon zord roared with shared frustration. "I want to help this world move forward! I want peace! And if that means casualties along the way... then so be it!"
"Tommy!" Quinn struggled to catch his breath from the fall. "This is not what you believe it to be! I'm here! Fighting you so you can see the truth for once in your life!"
"Shut up!" I yelled. The dragon zord tore forward and grabbed the two robots by their necks. I could see the rangers struggle in their glass cockpits, their hands gripping their necks. "I'm tired of hearing your 'bigger man' speeches Quinn! I'm tired of seeing you move on and find love and friendship when you push me away! We could have done this together! But now you had to go and be a ranger! You had to believe a head in a fucking wall!"
"A-and you listened to a witch," he said as his threat tightened.
I roared and threw the two across the dessert sand. The metal banged and rumbled as it collided with the ground. Quinn's tiger stood up and guarded the megazord as it started to dismantle itself. The dragon zord roared and green jets of flame shot from its open maw. They licked the sand and slowly turned the ground to a clear coat of glass.
"Rita made me better!" I yelled as the dragon shot more flames. "I was weak and stupid, and worthless before this! And now, now I can take over a world, with or without Rita or Zedd! I beat them Quinn. I beat them both, what hope do you have against me?!"
"We have numbers," he spoke softly.
Kimberly shot into the sky, carrying Quinn's Tiger zord in its talons. When she was over top of me, she dropped Quinn and our zords collided. The wind flew from my lungs as my dragons back hit the glass around me as it shattered. Quinn's fangs sunk into my dragons neck. Metal scraped against as I grabbed my neck. The piercing pain extended down my body. I could feel blood soaking the inside of my suit, drenching my neck in crimson hot liquid. The cockpit of my zord opened as the tiger clenched its teeth harder. I shot out into the sand, my helmet flying off my head and into the sand beside me. My vision darkened as the blood kept seeping from my neck.
The other rangers positioned their zords around mine and each placed a foot against it, holding it to the ground.
"Quinn!" I yelled, my speaker gurgled with blood.
I saw Quinn jump out of his giant robot onto the sand next to me. His sword extended from his wrist and he let the tip rest against my Adam's apple.
"Tommy, please come with us," he tried to sound concerned but exhaustion mixed his voice into heaves of air and sweaty breaths.
"I..." I never finished my sentence as my eyes went black and I felt my head hit the sand, sinking slowly into the earth. Blood seeped from my neck and onto the grainy sand like spilled ink, coating it in a crimson cloud.
