Chapter 3~ An Unexpected Turn

Well this week has been crazy all because of one event. I'll start at the beginning of the day. So Thursday morning I was with my friends and everything was going good until I realized that there would be and AR party later that day (A 2 hour field day that acts as an incentive for you reading). All of my friends were going. Later that day during 5th period i got let out early to help set up because i'm in ASB. So after setting up all the snacks and speakers we waited for all the kids to come. After giving all the kids their snacks me and all my friends went over by a cement spot near the field and sat down. After a little while we all started doing some tricks. Like cartwheels, back bends, the splits, etc. Since i'm a cheerleader I decided to show off something I could do very well. I decided to do the splits because I could do them perfectly and I had done them before. So after I did them perfectly and got up I felt a sharp pain going up and down my right leg. My friends all said I was fine so I believed them. So I walked around for another hour at the party with my leg really hurt. So after school I had to go to this after school program thing and by the time I got there my leg was still hurting. So I texted my mom and she said she would pick me up early and take me to the doctor. By the time she go there my leg was pretty purple and not so great feeling. After about an hour wait we got into the room and I could barely move my leg it hurt so bad. So the doctor gave me a numbing shot and took me to the X-Ray room. After the X-Ray the doctor told me I had pulled a muscle in my leg. And also told me that I needed to be on crutches for about a month. So  the next day I went to school with my crutches on and luckily it was cold. So I could wear pants and no one would have to see the ugly bruise on the back of my leg. So moral of the story is to stretch because if you don't you could get seriously injured. Lol Peace
