Aria has found out who A is, to keep her quiet A smashes her head from behind, causing aria serious brain damage. Aria loses her ability to speak, no one but Aria knows who a is and know she can't even tell anyone.
Ezra begins to put the pieces together, but before he can figure out who the infamous A really is he's framed for murder, Aria is the only one who believes he's innocent, everyone else including Hanna, Emily and Spencer find him guilty.
Aria has to work fast to save Ezra before his trial, but with no friends on her side to help her and no voice to be heard, this might be the end for both Aria and Ezra.
