Dramione One-Shot

I'm Sorry

   After the Second Wizarding War in Hogwarts History, Draco didn't want to stay a Death Eater just like his father. Draco realized how corrupted his parents vaules were and that he didn't want to believe them.

    Draco was changing his ways and wanted to first start off with how he treated the house elves the way that he had.

    Draco realized that no one should have to be at your beck and call whenever you please. So Draco goes to Hermione for help.

    It was a spring day when Draco asked Ginny where he might find Hermione.

   "She's at the Black Lake. You aren't going to hex her, are you?"

   "No. I just want to ask her a few questions."

    Draco strutted off towards the Black Lake and behold Hermione is there reading Hogwarts A History for probably the umpteenth time, while Crookshanks is chasing all the butterflies around them.

   "Granger, I need to ask you something."

    Startled Hermione looked up from her book.

   "Yes Draco. Is there anything I can help you with?"

   "I want to join S.P.E.W. Can you teach me please how to act differently towards House Elves?"

    Hermione was appalled at the words coming out of Dracos mouth. But she never declined, she had stopped trying to support S.P.E.W. because the boys kept telling her it was silly. Knowing that Draco was serious she complied.

    "Of course."

IN THE MAGICAL LAND IF TIME SKIPS. BILLLLLLLLLLYYYYYY!!!!!!

    It was 2 months later and Draco was up to his first test.

   "Draco, when Misty brings out dinner, why don't you thank her."

    In the Great Hall Misty was coming out of the kitchens to speak to McGonagall.

    Draco waited patiently for Misty and McGonagall to finish there conversation and politely asked Misty to come to him.

FLASHBACK

   "So the best way to politely approach a house elf, is how you would approach a new friend. You either ask them nicely to come to you, or you go to them in a calm manner.
Are you getting this Draco?"

   "Yes. But um, I'm not really good at making friends."

   "Oh, I've noticed. Are you close with your mother?"

   "Very, she's the sweetest and best mother I couldn't ask for"

   "Then approach the house elves like if your mum was watching and you wanted to please her by being the sweetest son ever."

   "I can do that."

FLASHBACK OVER

   "Misty. Could you please come here. I would like to tell you something."

   "Yes Mister Draco."

   "No need for formalities Misty, Draco is perfectly fine. "

   "Ok, what did you need?"

    Draco bends form to Misty's height.

   "I would like to thank you and the other house elves for dinner. It was amazing, I hope to eat more of these meals. I know you guys work hard making all the meals for us, so I've left a little surprise in the kitchens for all of you to enjoy."
