Waiting in the cafeteria line I glanced in front of the line to see what was taking so long. I had been standing here for 2 minutes and was getting annoyed. Call me impatient but I had gotten done with three lectures this morning and I was starving. Next time I'll be sure to catch a ride with Naria off campus, since my mother decided I shouldn't have my car my first year of college.

Looking down at my phone I seen I had an incoming call from an unknown number. Frowning I declined it.

"Hi what would you like?" One of the ladies working behind the counter asked. Looking at my options I decided on the roast beef with broccoli and cheese on the side.

"Can I get the beef with broccoli and cheese please?" I pointed. She nodded and fixed my plate. "So you just gon ignore my call like that? Damn I see how it is."

Receiving my plate I turned to see the same guy from a few days ago, Justin. "May I have the same thing she got but without cheese please?"

"That was you calling? How'd you even get my number?" He looked at me smiling. "I asked around but anyway where you want to sit?"

Frowning I chuckled "I didn't know I invited you to eat with me" Taking a seat near the window he sat across from me ignoring my comment and digging into his food.

"I don't know anyone on campus so how exactly did you get my number?"

"I asked your friend, I think her name is Narnia or something like that." He stated trying not to laugh. Rolling my eyes I opened my mouth to speak "Her name is Naria." He snapped his fingers pointing at me "yeah yeah Naria that's her name, oh and I almost forgot." He paused going into his backpack reaching for my notes I had given him. "Thanks" he handed me them.

Taking the notebook I laid it on the table finally eating my food. While Justin talked my ear off. I was a little distracted, one because Naria is only my roommate whom I've only known for 3 days and two because who is she to be giving my number out like that. Making a note to myself I definitely have to ask her about that.

"You going to tonight's party right?" Justin asked pulling me out of my thoughts. "Uhh I'm not sure" "You should it's a tradition every school year"

"Where is it?" I looked up from my now empty plate. "It's off campus at this hotel nearby, each year our Fraternities switch off and take turns trying to out do each other by throwing the parties." He explained.

"So you wanna go or no, It'll be fun and like you said you don't know nobody, so you can maybe meet some people." He went on trying to persuade me. I nodded my head "Maybe I'll think about it."

"Aight well if you do come wear something sexy for me" he winked and got up to throw away his trash. Shaking my head I got up to throw my plate away as well.

Hearing the front door of my dorm open , Naria stepped into my room.

"Hey" she said. "Hey what's up? You sound like you're in a good mood." "I am, I met this guy today and he seems really interested in me."

"Really? That's nice what's his name?" I questioned. "His names Cameron." Nodding I decided to stop stalling and get to the gist.

"You know Justin that guy in my management class right?" She smirked and nodded her head yes. "Yeah I know him your little soon to be boo."

"Why'd you give him my number without asking or letting me know?"
She slightly frowned expecting me to have a different reaction. "Im sorry I didn't realize that would be a problem."

"It's not a big deal I just wished you would've at least asked for my permission instead of just doing it, you know. I know your intentions were good."

"Of course I know what you mean I'm sorry again." She gave me a weak smile. "Do you want to go to a party tonight with me?" She asked. "Cameron invited me."

"Justin actually invited me too, I told him I would think about it but sure we can go and see wassup." I stated.

She smirked real big raising her eyebrows. "Justin huh? Ooouuu I see you." Rolling my eyes I got up from my bed and looked for something to wear tonight.
