She went to school
She was a normal
Happy
Healthy girl.
She goes to class,
This kid calls her fat.
Gym weighing is today
114 with clothes.
She decides to go on a diet.
She thinks she can survive on 400 calories a day.
Then 200
Then 20...
20 calories a day.
I'm fine...This is what pretty girls do...
She thinks.
Her friends say she looks good.
They're just lying to make me feel good. She says...
Then she stopped eating.
One day
Two days
Three days
Four...
She feels so fat.
She hides in jeans and a sweatshirt.
She can't wear short sleeves.
Too many scars
Too many secrets.
People start to notice. Only kids though...
Teachers don't notice.
Parents don't notice.
Sisters became abusive.
"If I can't control them at least I can control my eating
And my weight..." She says to herself.
So she loses weight..
Her friend from high school notices.
She asks if they can talk and practice after school.
She talks about how she had an eating disorder and recovered.
She was planning on committing suicide that night..
.That girl saved her life...
Amazing what few words can do...
