For the longest time the gods and goddesses were, and technically still are, the only immortals. The three Kings of the gods and goddesses were Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. Zeus being the true leader. They worked together, although, they all butted heads on multiple occasions. They would come to a final decision and whatever that decision was had to be done.

The Volturi were leaders and lawmakers of the vampire world. Just like the Olympian gods, they had three kings. Those kings were Aro, Caius, and Marcus. Aro being the true leader of them. They also butted heads like the Olympian gods, and would eventually come to a final decision.

Hedone was one of the goddesses. Her father being Eros and Phyche. She was the goddess of sensual pleasure, which was to be expected. She was also very beautiful which was very much expected. She had a playful nature and was very flirtatious when it came to mortal men.

However, she never expected the surprise she got when she was traveling to Forks. She was traveling in her teenage form and like always she had gotten herself registered in the towns high school. She had arrived to her first class late, on purpose. Hedone always loved to make an entrance. The attention she got was what motivated her.

The boys in the class, along with the girls, looked up to see the new student in the class. Hedone looked at the class and gave them all a bright smile. She handed the teacher her paper to sign. Then sat in an open seat in the front of class. She didn't have to be there but she had nothing better to do with her time.

She was too fascinated by mortal men to be stuck in Olympus. Hedone was always on the move and was never really tied down to one place. However, she was starting to get bored with her games. The more she flirted with mortal men the more she noticed that they were all the same. Well around her that is. She didn't intentionally use her powers on the mortals, but gave off the energy of her power.

Lunch was the time that the Cullen family expected the attention they usually got at school. They were very surprised to see that the attention was on one girl. The girl was obviously beautiful they couldn't deny that. She had an aura of confidence around her and Jasper could feel it. There was also an air of sensuality as more of the male students grouped around her.

Hedone was laughing at something one of the boys had told her. Although she wasn't paying much attention to what they had to say. She let her eyes wander around the cafeteria. Her eyes landed on the Cullen children and knew that they weren't human. She had an eye for catching who was what. Of course all gods and goddesses had that ability.

Hedone got up to leave with her little group following behind her. She sighed as she turned around.

"Please don't follow me." She said with a slight irritated tone.

The group nodded and went back to sit where they usually did. It was almost as if Hedone was never in there. Except for the fact that she was on all of their minds.
