II- His Birthday Part2

It's a tough kind of love if you still love  each other but you both know that it's over. Yet being friends with your ex is tougher than you can ever imagine, especially when you're working together; you can't help but not fall each and every time she smiles and looks at you like he owns you, when he throws his corniest jokes that you can't even handle and just responds with a "laugh out loud" reaction and you just don't know why as long as you understand each other's soul that's all that matters. :))

"Hon?"Lucy embraced her loving husband as she handed him a tiny red gift box.

"Yes?" He responded by tickling her in her ticklish spot. In her neck. (Just like our hers)

"Happy Happy Birthday Hon! I hope you like it." And she kissed him on the cheek.

"Wow. Thank you Hon. " He was about to open the gift when it rained really really hard.

"Oh, paano ba yan? Tuloy pa ba party mo?" She asked out of concern.

"Hon, pa resched ko na lang kaya? Kaya lang hindi na ako pwede tomorrow kasi babalik na tayo ng Ormoc." He frowned.

Di na kami magkikita. He said to himself.

On the other hand....

Dawn fishes for her phone and dialed Viv's number.

After three rings...

"Hello Viv?"

"Oh yes Dawn?"

"Are you coming ba?"

"Hindi ko alam. Ang lakas lakas kasi nang ulan Dawn. Baka hindi na? Madulas na ang daan eh."

"Oo nga. Naku paano ba yan."She bit her lower lip...

While someone called on the other line

"Wait lang Viv ha, I'll be right back. I need to receive another call."

"Hello Goms?"

"Dawn?"

She still feels kilig whenever he says her name. That manly voice that she wont get tired of hearing each and every time. She smiled and finally broke the silence.

"Oh paano ba yan umulan na oh. Tuloy pa ba party mo?" While bitting her lower lip.

"Yun na nga Dawn, baka hindi na. Sorry ha?"

"Okay lang." A bit disappointed. But she knows that it would probably end with this, him canceling his birthday celebration.

If you only knew how I badly want to see you and hug you. Those sleepless nights that I've had because that I couldn't even have a quick nap it's because I always think of you, your letters that I am fond of reading specially when I am left alone in the house; those pictures that our fans have posted in our twitter and instagram fan page; of course I am saving some; those that were candid; those eyes that once belonged only to me; the giggles that we threw each time you crack your weird and corniest jokes na pati ako nakikisabay and we laugh out loud to the point that we almost lose our breaths.... I missed you Goms. I really do.

"Asan ka ?" He asked.

"Uy Dawn, andyan ka pa ba?"But still no answer.

"May kinakausap pa
ba ako? Hello?" He giggles
