•Chapter 1•

"Are you sure about this?" My father asks as he sits on his metal table in his office.

"Positive. You know I never wanted to leave that town." I spoke in my seemingly annoying British accent, my father nods and lets out a sigh.

"I don't know –" my father says before I cut him off. I will do anything to go back to that town and I am not accepting a no.

"Dad! I can take care of myself. Plus, there is trustworthy people in that town." I say crossing my hands and using the puppy eyes tactic.

"Not the eyes." He says before turning around to his desk.

Like the annoying whining boy that I am, I go around the table to be face to face, still with the puppy eyes. He looks at me and rolls his eyes.

"Fine." He says and my face glows up as my lips form into a huge smile. I give my dad a tight hug before running out the door towards my house to start getting packed.

This year wasn't so bad to be honest. I began thinking about all the things that happened this year while packing my clothes.

"Dad, I-I'm a son of the rainbow." I say shaking a little bit, looking down waiting to see my father's reaction.

"W-what?" He states confused as he stops eating.

"I'm a son of – of the rainbow." I say once again as a not forms into my throat again.

"What – is that some kind of religion?" He says bringing the spoon full of soup onto his mouth.

"What your son is trying to say is that he- he's gay." Says Candice. The blonde with blue eyes in her late 30s.

"You are?" My father asks making me really fearful. I nod slowly, he starts laughing. Which at first I thought it was a cry. "Was that supposed to be a secret?" He asks and I shrug my shoulders.

"Please, I have known since we went to Beacon Hills, the way you looked at that boy – What was – Stiles, that's it! You looked at him just like I looked at your mother. And the boy too." He says making me laugh and sigh in relief.

"Do you still – you know – love me?" I ask getting emotional of even thinking about the possibility that his father would dislike him or that their relationship would change.

"Oh shut up, you wanker. There is nothing in this world that will stop me from loving you. You will always be my son." My father spoke making me break down in tears.

After that, we ended up talking until late about everything and lots and lots of crying. I come across the yellow suit that I used at the formal, making me smile instantly. I pass it on and see my black suit bringing back memories from this year.

"Roger, do you accept Candice Amelie to be your wife?" The priest asks as my father and his new fiancé, soon to be wife, Candice holding hands.

"I do." My father says without leaving the smile off his face.

I stood beside my father holding back the tears. I am happy that my father got to find happiness after my mother. I know that she is in this room smiling at my father.

"Candice, do you accept Roger Barnett to be your husband?" The priest asks the beautiful bride.

"I do." She says with water in her eyes. Candice has been the nicest to me and I have accepted her as a new mother figure.
