And becomes ragged
But still I lay on my bed looking at my phone
Reading the one thing that strengthens the monster
The text you send me
Awakens the monster inside
It claws at my heart trying to get to you
This monster you've finally awaken
The monster that is my love
Sorry I don't let it out to show you
But the pain this love puts on my heart
This pain that hurts
Whenever you are near me or on my mind
My love for you is great
But this love causes me pain
So I limit this monster you've awaken
But just know I love you just as much
But it's hard for me to let
The monster claw its way out
To touch you and
Show you all my love
