Chapter 5

"Oh, I'm so happy for you sis!" Princess said happily.

"Stop the girly talk for a while please, I'm still here!" Cody said.

"Oh, hey Cody, what happened to you? Why are you so bitter?" Xeanne said.

"Nothing. I just---." Cody said and looked down on his feet.

"Hey, why? Is there a problem?" Xeanne asked sweetly.

"My mom and dad will get a divorce." Cody said sadly.

"I'm sorry to hear that Cody, what time's your dismissal?"  Xeanne asked.

"2:00, why?" Cody asked back.

"Cool! Our dismissal's 2:00 too, wanna come over our place? Jordan will pick me up at 4 though, so we'll have time to chat." Xeanne invited.

"Yeah sure, why not?" Cody said.

Cody's day lightened. Cody has a secret crush on Xeanne. Xeanne's her friend. 

"Can we come too?" Princess asked.

"Of course! I'll bake some cupcakes. Chocolate fudge with cherry or Chocolate fudge with nuts?" Xeanne asked.

"Both." Michaela answered.

"Why don't you do it this way? Chocolate fudge with nuts and cherry." Yessica said.

"Ok, I'll try." Xeanne said and smiled.

Then the bell rang for their next class, hours passed until all classes are finished. The bell rang for dismissal. Xeanne, Princess and Yessica went straight to Cody's class. Mr. Han, their korean teacher who grew up here in Oklahoma, always ends up his class late. So, we waited for Cody after 5 minutes and we all went to my house. I baked cupcakes, we talked and we had fun until it was 3:30 and I need to prepare to go to Jordan's house. They all said goodbye and they thanked me for the invite and I thanked them for coming. I wore a black cropped top with a white t-shirt underneath and a white pants. I don't need to dress like a princess, It's a study date! And the doorbell rang,

"Coming!" I yelled as I ran downstairs.

I opened the door and we walked to his house. After 10 minutes of chatting while walking we reached his huge house. We entered and woah! He got 2 cute little chihuahua puppies, Amber and John, cool names. He gave me a glass of lemonade and a cupcake. We talked for a while and started the tutoring. We finished studying, 5:20 in the afternoon. Then we started talking,

"Have you heard the news?" Jordan asked.

"What news?" Xeanne asked.

"The zombie thingy. The CDC making a chemical to make a person turn into a zombie." Jordan said.

"Oh yes." Xeanne said.

"They said something bad happened. The zombie cannot be stopped and when the zombie bites a living person, the chemical will also be seen in the bit person. It's really creepy but I still don't know if it's true." Jordan explained.

"Really? Yeah, it's creepy." Xeanne said, she was cold, she was freaked out by what Jordan said.

"The scientists were bit they said, and also the zombies are lurking around in some country but they didn't tell what country." Jordan said.

It's already 6:00 pm when we finished talking.

"Jordan, can you walk me home?" Xeanne asked nicely.

"Of course!" Jordan said.

They walked and then the see something walking slowly and looking like a crazy person, it was roaming around and it looked so creepy.
