Cpt 11 - My Mistake

Inks POV

I can't believe it.  Was that me? Did I start it or did he? I can't believe it! He was smiling too! Did I smile? I think I may have... Maybe not... I was against the door daydreaming about all that happened.  The waterfall... The movie... The kiss... It all came back to me.  My mom snapped me out of my fantasies.  "Why are you home so late!?" I looked at her with nerve and shock.  "Um.. I was out" I said scared to death I would die.  "With a boy!? You seem awfully nervous who was he what did you do!?" She asked pushing me more and more.  "It wasn't a boy first off and we went to the movies and lost track of time" I partially lied.  "Why didn't you tell me where you were going?" She asked.  "You weren't home" I said.  She looked at me but said "Your off the hook this time go to bed" I hurried to my room before she could say anything more.  I went to bed but I couldn't stop thinking about Error.

I woke up the next morning to a text I just got.  I groaned as I rolled over to get my phone from the nightstand.  I looked to see who it was from and it was from Dream.

Dream: Ink!

Dream: Ink I have news!

Dream: I saw you at the movies with Error!!

I froze at the last part.  What did she see? I hesitated to respond.

Me: Yeah

Dream: Were you on a date with him!?

Me: No

Dream: Your lying you like him!!

Me: Says the girl who was making out with Cross

Dream: ......

Dream: That doesn't matter! Did you kiss him?

Me: Why do you care?

Dream: You did!?

Me: I never said that

Dream: You can tell me! I won't tell anyone!

Me: I don't trust you one bit

Dream: Fine I'll figure it out myself!

Me: Good luck trying

I turned off my phone and sat on my bed still waking up.  At least she didn't see anything.  If I told her she would tell Blue and Cross and Blue would tell everyone.  I thought and thought.  If we were ever together how would everyone take it? No one seems to mind Dream and Cross together but why do they care about me and Error? I need to get my head out of the clouds.  I walked downstairs.  It was still early in the morning and my parents weren't awake yet.  I made breakfast and sat down.  Maybe I should see if Error is awake.

Me: Morning Error

Error: Morning

Me: How did your parents handle you being late?

Error: Heh... Same old... Not good

Me: Same here but I got off the hook

Error: Good for you

Me: Did you enjoy last night? I did it was awesome!

Error: Yeah it was... Nice

Me: I'm glad! Well I gatta go I'm going over to Dreams house today

Error: Okay bye

I got off my phone and went back upstairs.  I changed and texted Dream.

Me: Hey I'm coming over now!

I ran downstairs and out the door and walked to Dreams.  I got there and knocked on her door.  She opened it.  "Hey Ink!" She said happily.  "Hey" she invited me in and we went to her room.  "Cross and Blue are coming soon" She said.  "Oh okay" She wanted us to come over.  I don't know why maybe it was just a late night.  Soon they all came and we sat.  I was overwhelmed with Cross and Dream holding hands.  "So why did you invite us over?" Blue asked.  "Well to hang out and also tell you that Me and Cross are dating now!" Dream said happily.  "Good for you guys" I said but not as happy as I wanted to sound.  "Are you okay Ink?" Blue asked.  I nodded.  "I'm fine" I said.  "So what do you want to do?" Dream asked.  I shrugged.  "Anything" I said.  "Maybe we can talk about everyone's love life for starters Blue told me his crush is Fe-" "SHHH" Blue interrupted.  I knew what Dream was about to say and I giggled.  "You like him?" I asked.  "N-no I-Im n-not g-gay!" He stampered.  "Its okay Blue no one will judge you" Cross said.  "F-fine... I-I l-like F-fell... A l-little" he admitted.  "A little?" I asked and leaned closer.  "Okay a lot!" Blue covered his face.  "Don't worry we won't tell anyone" Dream said.  "Hey Ink who's your crush?" Cross asked and everyone turned to me.  My face became a giant rainbow. "I-I d-dont h-have o-one" I stampered and lied.  I don't know why But I just do!! "Yes you do!" Dream stopped me.  "You were at the movies with Error yesterday!" She said.  "As friends!" I corrected.  Dream smirked.  "I think you like him" "So what if I do!?" I asked.  "Ink you can tell us I won't tell  secret aslong as you don't tell mine" Blue said.  "F-fine! I Like E-Error a little bit because w-we kissed y-yesterday" I mumbled but admitted and covered my face in defeat.  "I knew it!" Dream squealed.  "You kissed him!?" Cross asked as shocked as everyone.  "We w-were locked i-in a c-closet" I said.  "Locked in a closet!?" Dream asked.  I nodded. I can't believe I told my friends.  I'll never live this down.  

We did a bunch of fun stuff all day but no one mentioned my crush on Error.  I don't know why I do it doesn't seem right but I don't care. It got late.  "I think I'll go home guys see ya" I said and left.  I got home and mom and dad were asleep thankfully so I tiptoed to bed.  I wonder what my friends will do at school tomorrow.  Maybe they'll blow my secret.  Maybe they'll keep it.  I can only hope for the best.
