Cpt 15 - Trust

Inks POV

I looked at my phone.  Cross was talking on the group chat.  Error is throwing things?  He says its his fault.  What is? I was confused and realized I need to say something.  I texted Error before I slept.

Me: Hey Error I know you probably saw me cry... If you think its your fault its not..  The truth is I'm just going through so much.. My brother died a few days ago and its been so hard on me and we even moved.. Then there's you.. To be honest your the only good thing in my life for once I feel happy when I'm with you.. I understand your stressed I'll see you soon

I turned off my Phone and went to sleep.  The next morning I woke up early.  I sat on my bed staring at nothing for a long time making up my mind.  Should I go to school? I was so afraid people would croud me.  You know what I'm going.  I'll just talk with Cross, Blue, and Dream and explain why I'm so emotional.  I've realized that I'm telling everyone this.  Maybe I shouldn't mention my brother.. Only Error can know the true story because I trust him.  I got ready then went downstairs.  I saw my mom and she looked at me.  "So your going to school?" She asked.  I nodded in reply. She smiled.  "Have a good day just dont run home again okay?" I giggled at that.  "Okay" I walked to school feeling more confident.  I got inside the school and saw Cross.  He saw me first and ran over.  "Hey Ink how are you? Everything okay?" He asked happy but worried.  "I'm fine.. I just have a lot going on and couldn't handle it" I said.  "Oh good! I dont know if you saw my texts but Error had a total break down yesterday!" Cross said.  "I know I saw"  I said a little worried.  "I need to talk to him" I said more to myself.  "Probably I think he'll only talk to you anyway" Cross admitted.  "Yeah I'm gonna look for him" I walked off to find him.  I looked back and yelled "Tell everyone I'm okay if you see them!" Cross gave me a thumbs up.  I looked back and continued walking.  I finally found Error outside.  I walked over.  He looked surprised to see me.  "InK!" He stood up when he saw me.  "WhAt HapPenD YeStErDaY?" He asked with a worried tone.  "Oh nothing really I texted you last night" I said.  "You DiD?" I nodded and he searched for his phone.  "I mUsT HaVe LefT It At HoMe" He said regretfully.  "Aw that must suck" I said.  "Mind if I sit with you?" I asked.  "N-no NoT at AlL" we both sat down.  I looked up.  "Why did you freak out yesterday?" I suddenly asked.  "Oh! uh I JuSt..." He stopped.  I knew he didn't want to say.  "Its okay you don't have to tell me" I said and looked at him.  "YEah I DoNt WaNt to" he admitted.  "Okay" I smiled.  I laid my head on his shoulder as if I did it all the time.  He flenched a bit but didn't seem to mind.  The bell rang and we got up to go to class.  "Wanna walk together?" I asked.  He shrugged so I walked beside him.  People watched us kind of shocked but I shook off the feeling.  Today was a better day than normal.  

At lunch I sat with everyone.  "Ink are you sure your okay?" Dream asked butting in once more.  "Yes I'm fine" I said for the billionth time. If I was being honest Im not fine It's a total hurricane inside of me.  She stopped but I think she still didnt believe me.  "So Ink did you talk to Error?" Cross asked.  "Um yeah" I said.  "Well what happened?" Blue asked curious.  "Nothing much hes definitely calm now" I said.  Cross sighed in relief.  "Good I almost got killed yesterday he  kept yelling it was his fault" Cross said.  Was it that bad?  The bell rang for our next class.

I walked home. I took a path no one else did so I was alone.  I got home and my mom smiled when she saw me.  "How was school?" She asked.  "It was okay" I said.  "Good! I'm glad to hear that" she said.  I got out my homework and continued to talk with my mom.  I looked at my phone deciding still to text everyone.  I can't just yet.  I can't trust them they'll spread the rumor and I'll go back to day 1.  But how much longer can I lie? How long can I go without crying? I guess I'll have to wait and find out.
