Chapter 13

Arianna's POV

I'm in my bathroom and I am staring at the girl in the mirror. She looks so gorgeous and her hair looks amazing. She's wearing these elegant long earrings, a cute bracelet to match with it, her dress is grey and black, the top of it is almost lacy but it isn't showing too much, the sequence of the dress is beautiful, and to top it all off her heels are black and shiny.

I smile and I see the girl in the mirror do the exact samething. I'm surprised to point out that that girl is me. I take a deep breath because I am so nervous. Will Jake be shocked when he sees me? Well let's find out I tell myself. I walk out of the bathroom and into my bedroom. I grab my purse and drop my phone and other things into it.

As I am walking down the stairs I hear a lot of yelling and laughing. I guess everyone is just waiting on me. I finally make it down the stairs. Everyone is in the living room looking at the T.V. and chatting with each other but it stops as my heels hit the marble floor. They all turn around and I see all of the guys mouths drop and I see Cat with a huge smile on her face.

I start to get a little weirded out that all the guys are staring at me. My brothers though are glaring at them. I try to put down the hem of my dress nervously. "What? Do I look ok?" I ask looking down at my dress and smoothing it out. I hear someone's steps coming into the living room from the kitchen and I could already guess who it was.

"Hey Embry did you want Pepsi or-"  Jacob stops what he was about to say and looks to see what everyone was staring at. He drops the Pepsi and the Sprite soda cans and just stares at me with his mouth wide open. I bite my bottom lip trying not to laugh at his expression. "Hi Jacob." I say with a slight smirk.

I see him shake his head and look away. "Um, uh, yea u look...nice" I tried so hard not to laugh but a giggle slipped from my lips. Cat clapped her hands as she said "Ok people lets go to the party!!" Everyone agreed with her and got their things. Before I closed the door I thought about Dad and remembered that he had a late night shift at the hospital.

He doesn't like us going to parties but we're all rebels. I locked the door and put my key in my shiny silver clutch. I got in the passenger seat and Cat pulled out of my drive way. i heard my brothers and Cat's brother Mark talking about cars. It wasn't a long drive when we finally got to Jared's house. His house was over flowing with a lot of people.

Cat parked on the lawn since the lawn was huge too. It's a good thing that Jared has a big house. We all got out the car and I saw Jacob walking away with the guys. I felt feel slightly sad that he didn't want to walk in with all of us together. I felt a soft touch on my arm and it was Cat. "Hey why don't we go inside get a drink and start dancing" I smiled and nodded my head.

We walked through the door and was overwhelmed with so much people. Cat grabbed my hand and pushed through the herd towards what I would guess would be the kitchen. We entered the kitchen and she went towards a cooler that was next to the fridge. She took out 2 bottles of what would be beer.

My eyes widened as she opened them and handed me one. "Oh come on Arianna, one beer isn't going to do anything." she said by the look at my face. I only ever had 1 beer before and that was when I was with Hayden at a party. When he saw me drinking it he knocked it out of my hand and told me not to drink.

He told me that it was bad but obviously he didn't take his own advice and drank 4 beers. That's how he ended up kissing that slut. With a grimace I took a big gulp of the beer. It tasted bitter but after a few more sips I got used to the taste. Cat started munching on chips and I joined her. Soon we were talking about things and then she suddenly stopped and stared at who or whatever was behind me.

I turned around and saw that it was Jared. I looked back at Cat and saw that she was smiling and blushing looking down. "Go talk to him! Don't worry I'll be fine" she still looked unsure. "Are you sure? I don't want to leave you alone." I shook my head at her and said "Don't worry. Just tell me everything later." She smiled at me and I pushed her towards Jared's direction.
