Chp::4--Assistant For a Month

  After the declaration of Balbadd's Independence, Sinbad decided to head to the Kou Empire for a deplomatic mission. As Kou Empire heard of this, the Generals Kouha, Koumei as well as you were directly called to Kouen's office.

As the three of you entered, you directly showed your respect by bowing slightly.

" You called us, Lord Kouen? " Koumei greeted

" Yes... We've got visitor " he paused, putting a scroll down " King Sinbad of Sindria is going to be staying here for a month. "

" I see... " you responded " What do you want us to do, Your Highness? "

" Since a person with a high rank is going to be here, I will task each of you to contribute something in his stay."

" You can count on us, En-nii " Kouha answered

" Very well, Koumei, make sure to prepare all the necessary things that the King needed in his stay here "

" Kouha, you are in charge of maintaining the orderliness and peace in the palace "

" And (y/n)... " he turned his red orbs to you

" Y-yes? " you jolted

" You will be King Sinbad's personal assistant in a month. " he said

" Eh?! " the pink haired boy reacted

Koumei, Kouen and you turned to him who was kind of confused about your job.

" Anything wrong, Kouha? " the bearded man asked

" En-nii, don't you think that job is too big for (y/n) ? " he responded

" What do you mean? " Kouen interogatted

" What if King Sinbad suddenly made a move on her or ordered her to stay up all night? Even if she's a general, (y/n) is still a girl "

" Hmm... " the eldest Ren hummed

" Don't worry, Lord Kouen, Prince Kouha, I'll be fine " you smile, assuring them " I will measure it up to your expectation, your Highness "

Kouha was left dumbfounded. He, as well as the other Ren siblings already knew about Sinbad's attitude towards women.

" Very well, were doing this for Father since he was not around as of now. You are dismissed "

With that, the three of you exited his office. You headed to the hallway that leads to your room just when you were called by Kouha.

" (Y/n)! " he called

" Prince Kouha? " you turned to him " Is something the matter? "

" Yes, " he paused " Are you sure you wanted to be King Sinbad's assistant? "

" Sure, why not "

His eyes twitched slightly.

" Are you even serious? " he interogatted hysterically

" Yes " you answered with a grin painted on your face " Besides, I want to get to know King Sinbad better. You see, he was one of the people who helped my Kingdom prosper "

" But he's a womanizer! He could turn to you anytime, you know? "

" Don't worry, I can handle him " you said with a thumb's up

He had no choice. It was your final decision. All he needed to do now is to keep the peace in the palace which would be easy. Or so he thought.

You along with the two other Generals and Kouen waited for Sinbad to arrive at the dock. As the Sindrian boat finally stopped, a long, purple haired man went down. He had a muscular build and attractive looks. You cant deny that he was charming though.
