Here comes the Sun

"Holy crap! " I yell. Forcing myself out of bed hoping I wasn't late like last week.
'ring 'ring'
I can hear my phone buzzing on my nightstand. I run quickly over to answer it.

"Chels where are you? We were supposed to meet for coffee around 6 and its 8! School is about to start!"Kylie yells.

" I'm sorry but my alarm did not go off,"I replied. Kylie can get so cranky in the morning I thought to myself.

"Just go without me Kylie, I'll make it up after school, kay?"I say calmly.

"fine! But we are going to that new froyo shop. "she says. Kylie hung up the phone. Wow, I can already tell this day would just be peachy.

I rush in the shower,chang into my school uniform, and zoom out the door. Ezra was not going to like my lateness. This would make the 12 time to be late this month. Somehow I manage to get good grades, and in return my father sends me a huge stinking check plus a amazing beach house. Starlight Academy is 8 blocks away from the beach so it's usually a hangout for us. I got in my car and drove a little over the speed limit to school.

As I arrive to campus and park my car, Mary is waving me over from a big oak tree. I walk over to the sweet ( sometimes evil) Mary Coline.

"Hey Mary. What do you want? " I say knowing that she was telling me to perform one of her duties.
"Well Headmaster Jones wants me to show around the new transfer student, but...I cant" I look at her angrily.
" Why can't you Mary?"
"well I am really late with my studies and being student vice president is alot to handle, so will you do it? " she says in her warm innocent voice.
"sure," I accept.
Mary can just get anyone to do anything. Yet I understand being student vice President can be alot to handle plus school. At Starlight academy, we always have homework in every class. I breath heavily and walked to the Headmasters office. At least the new kid will be nice. right?
