Alice wakes up to Seth, her adoptive brother, jumping on her bed. "Alice! Alice! Wake up, wake up, you'll be late to school again." Seth says shaking his older sister the hardest he can. "I'm awake, I'm awake" she says pulling the rapidly falling blanket on to her cold body, "You don't want to be late today!" Seth pulls the blanket off Alice wrapping it around his shoulders like a cape "Why don't I want to be late today, Seth?" Alice asks sleepily, finally surrendering to the fact that Seth will never let her sleep in. "Because, Caroline's gonna be there! And she wants to talk to you about something." he says dropping his blanket-cape on the floor. Alice pushes him out the door "I'll be down in five, tell Margo and David, please" she says picking her blanket off the floor, folding it, and placing it on her bed "Okay!" came Seth's eager reply.
