Rebirth of a Legend

A New Beggining

We see a cloaked figure near the peak of Mt. Silver looking over the edge with a Pikachu lying in his lap as they watch night turn to day. He is widely known Mt. Silver's monster, but we may know him as Ash Ketchum. He has changed drastically from the last time we saw, while having a cloak around him he still had his cap which was ravaged having a chunk of it missing from the lip, all around his clothing was beating and worn out some having holes in them. While his clothes weren't doing well he had grown to around 6.2' and was fit having visible muscles and a few scares one being above his right eyebrow of which he got when he was training. But more importantly his eye's, they were more cold kind of lifeless.

As the two gazed at the morning sky there was then a small explosion behind them which shocked them back to reality.

Ash said "Can you guys wait to train?"to the two of his two most powerful Pokemon a Greninja, and a Lucario.

Greninja had came to look for ash not long after ash had left having finished his job in Kalos, while for Lucario he met as an egg while Ash was training.

They both said "sorry" sort of telepathically through aura which Lucario had taught him to control aura, after hearing what their master had said they stopped immediately and began to relax a little.

After some time Ash, Lucario, and Greninja detected a presence which turned out to be a messenger Dragonite. His Pokemon were about to fire at it when Ash panicked and told them to stop. As the Dragonite was landing there were powerful gusts all around the Pokemon but those barely affected Ash but almost sent the small rodent on his shoulder flying. The Pokemon had given Ash what looked like an Invitation, then flew away cause Pikachu to fly off Ash's shoulder into.

Ash turned around and said "You ok Pikachu?" His little friend responded with a "yes" telepathically.

"That's good let's head back in" Ash said as he and his Pokemon headed back to the cave they call home. As they walked in they were greeted by the rest of Ash's pokemon. They surrounded Ash and tackled him to the floor leaving Greninja to save by grabbing him with his tongue.

"Thanks buddy" as Ash was being rescued by his Greninja. "We have a letter here so before we do anything else let me read it first" Ash had said to his many Pokemon as they cheered what was a bunch okay's.

The Letter: "To Ash Ketchum, you are hereby invited to participate in the World Tournament where you will face off against 255 other contestants who have been nominated to participate in the tournament. The tournament will be held on in the Alolan region Melemele Island."

P.S. "Took me forever to find you hope you come, I know you still have lots of potential. If you do want join, meet me in the front of the grand stadium at the tournament tommorow if you want to join, and catch up."-Scott

Ash chuckled to himself that he was given the opportunity to battle strong opponents again.

"Hey do you guys wanna participate?" Ash questioned his Pokemon and was responded by a loud battle cry that shown they were ready for the task.

"Okay then" He responded "Lets go!" then his Pokemon cheered again from all the excitement. When Ash packed all of his things he returned all of his Pokemon except for Charizard, and Pikachu and they went, with a loud roar from Charizard which could be heard from miles.

As they were mid flight Ash asked Charizard if they could make a quick pit stop, which Charizard happily agreed and landed on the outskirts of Pallet town.

"Thank you Charizard, return" as Charizard was zapped back into it's ball as Ash walked into town. Many people stared at him as if he was some sort of different creature, but he ignored the stares while slowly walking through town. Ever so slowly he eventually made it to his house and past it by while still walking. He walked and walked until he got to where he wanted to be.

Ash stood there standing then look down to the stone slab that stuck in the ground "I'm back Mom" with a face full of tears and a smile on his face.
