chapter 9 - school

I woke up to this annoying sound of my phone telling me it was time to wake up for school, i had an hour from now until Justin would come pick me up. I unlocked my phone and answered some messages, after i was done it was time for a quick shower. I stripped my clothes off and got in the nice warm shower, i let the warm water flow all over my body as i washed my hair.

When i came out the hot steamy shower i grabbed my towel and dried myself and got out the bathroom. I sat on my bed for a second and started to dress 15 more minutes had passed so i now had 30 more minutes left to do my hair, and eat breakfast. Walking into the still a bit steamy bathroom i heard my phone go off in my room so i sprinted to my bed and grabbed it, i thought it was Justin but insted it read ''unknown'' well since i wanted to know who it was i answered it and said ''hello?'' i heard nothing just someone heavy breathing and to be honest it scared me a little. ''hello?'' i tried again. ''watch you back'' i heard someone answer and then the line went dead. i frowned cause i had to know who the unknown caller was, i kept thinking while i was busy doing my hair and applying some light make up.

after minutes of thinking i kinda figured out it was pretty obvious it was Chase since he told me if i wouldn't stay away from Justin i had to watch my back, but how does he know i was with Justin? and then it hit me ,when i walked to Justins last night i had this feeling someone watched me and i thought i was being followed but i dropped it, and now i know it was Chase it couldn't be anybody else. But why was he heavy breathing was he in a fight or was he running from people i just don't know, but i did know i had to find out. Just when i was done eating my breakfast i heard the doorbell rang revealing a nice, fresh, good-looking Justin. I said bye to my brother since mom already was off to work and headed out with Justin. He gave me a quick peck on my lips and we headed to the car. ''Ri you seem a little off, is there something wrong'' he asked me while he kept driving. i looked at him. should i tell him?

''well it's a long story so i can tell you later'' i told him cause i didn't know how to tell it without him getting paranoid so i'll tell him after school, when i gave him that answer he kinda looked concerned ''hey, it's nothing where you have to worry about'' he said and i held his free hand and interlaced our fingers ''we're together that's all that matters to me'' i told him to calm him down and i gave him a sweet smile as he did the same, god i loved this boy.

5 minutes later we stepped out the car and walked through the double doors of our huge school, as we walked to our lockers we got some stares and some were pretty annoying but hey that's life right? ugh. Some stupid hoes from our school gave me death glares but i couldn't help but laugh. when we got to our lockers which weren't that far from each other i opened it and grabbed the first books i needed, when i was done i noticed Sammie and the others standing a couple feet away so me and Justin walked over to them and i saw Sammie smirking with a 'is it what i think it is' look. ''hey guys'' we both greeted and i got attacked by Sammie's hug which made me and some others laugh ''hey lovebirds'' Ryan started and everyone looked at us with some sort of smirk. ''you guys are unbelievable'' Justin stated and i nodded in agreement which made them all laugh and right then the bell rang, that was our que to go to class.

Since me and Justin didn't had the first class together he pulled me close while saying ''see you later beautiful'' i saw him leaning in which reminded me of the first time we kissed, that now already was 2 months ago. I kissed him back and it turned out to be a little make out session until our friends pulled us apart and we had to walk away, but before we both turned around he mounthed the words 'i love you' and i did the same. Me, Sammie, Alex and Casey walked to class they were my group where i'd always hang with but Sammie always was my best friend out all of them. I sat at math class and my mind already trailed off to what happened earlier this morning, what is Chase planning to do and why was he heavy breathing? Or was it someone else, what is happening, i really didn't know what to do cause what if he will not only hurt me but Justin too and i was sure i wouldn't let that happen. I knew one thing for sure, i had to tell Justin and now.

When i figured out how to tell the teacher i had to leave i stood up and walked to his desk, and i could feel all eyes were on me. ''sorry Mr. Parks but i have an appointment at the dentist so i have to get going'' i said with a fake smile on my face hoping he'd be fine with it. ''did your parents called the school?'' he asked and i nodded knowing it was a lie but i just had no choice at the moment. ''okay then it's fine bye Marissa'' he said and i grabbed my stuff giving Sammie a 'i'll tell you later' look so she wouldn't go after me or something. When i was done i grabbed my backpack and gave Mr.Parks a last smile and got out the door. I was lucky i knew where Justins class was, but it was on the 3th floor so i had to walk 2 long stairs who always made me tired.

Just when i almost reached his class my phone went off again, i looked at the number and it again was unknown so i answered it wanting to know who it exactly was. ''Hello?'' i answered and again i heard heavy breathing which made me a little scared ''don't get too close'' someone whispered through the phone and hung up, i think i never been this scared.

When i finally reached Justins class i knocked on the door and opened it, i saw all eyes on me and Justin sat there with a smirk on his face when he saw me but that turned into a frown when he saw i looked this scared ''Hi miss. Hemmling Justin needs to go home now it's a family emargency'' i lied and she looked at me with a confused look on her face ''and why are you here to pick him up then?'' she asked probably cause she expected me to lie. ''well our families are really close and justin didn't answered his phone so they called me and asked me if we could go to his house now '' i lied again. and she looked over to Justin who didn't know what was happening. ''well Justin grab your stuff you are released'' she said and i gave her a death glare, she never liked me and i never liked her so that's probably another reason why she asked me that.

He quickly grabbed his stuff and walked with me, when he closed the door behind him he immediatly turned to me to ask what was wrong and when he did i sighed knowing i had to tell him the story. We first walked out the school and sat in the car ''well this morning i got this call from an unknown number and first i heard someone heavy breathing and then the voice said 'watch your back' and then hung up. So i ignored it but then i thought about it and i actually thought it was Chase cause that'd be the most obvious, then when i walked to your class i got this call again and i again heard heavy breathing but this time the voice whispered 'don't get too close' and i really don't know what they'll do but i remember when i talked to Chase in the park he told me to not get too close to you or i had to watch my back, they don't want me near you.'' I told him and we both had a scared and confused look on our faces ''i will find this out for us okay, and from now i'm not gonna let you be alone even if it's for 5 minutes casue we don't know what he's capaple of i will not let him hurt you baby'' he said to me and kissed my forehead which made me feel a little less scared. ''we're gonna go to my house now and when your brother gets home we'll talk to him, he was in this too and he knows Chase'' Justin added and i was shocked was Jake in this too? did he know Chase? ''what Jake was in this too and i didn't even know he knows him? was he in that group too?'' i asked cause how could he not tell me ''that's for him to explain baby not me'' Justin said and he kinda was right ''but he does know how we need to do this'' Justin said while he grabbed my hand and kept driving with the other,

the only thing is we have to watch our back cause i think Chase is sending people to follow me and Justin, he is one step ahead and now we have to make sure we'll have control about this....,

I'm ready to get bad.
