"Catching Up"

You and PJ had been playing in silence for at least an hour. Where the hell did your friends go? 

PJ unplugged the tv and set the controller aside. He looked over at you and grinned. He crossed one leg over the other, placing his hands on the top of the couch, one arm behind your head. "So, Y/N. This is the first time we've met in real life, and we have spent an hour playing Mario Kart in silence. What a great first impression." You giggled, which made him grin. "PJ Liguori, you are such a dissapointment!" You said jokingly. He chuckled. You made him laugh. He thinks you're funny. Your stomach filled with happy butterflies.

"As I was trying to say before, you look great. I like a casual girl. A casual girl who's down to play some Mario Kart with some guy that she's never met in real life, and is still able to look chill the whole time." Holy shit, can I have that quote as a tattoo on the inside of my eyelid? 

"You seem overly confident."You pointed out. He nodded. "I am, Y/N. Why be nervous around a cute girl when you know she's just like you? She shares the same interests as you, she shares the same humor...The only thing to worry about is if she likes you back or not."

PJ must've realized what he was saying, because he quickly changed the subject. "So, how's your channel been doing?" You grinned. "Why don't you check it out for yourself?"

He turned on his phone and opened YouTube. He was already on your channel. You could see that he was subscribed, and had notifications turned on for whenever you posted a new video. "76,483 subscribers ALREADY? Dan is taking this way too far."

"He really is. I mean, none of it's true. We're not in a relationship. We're friends. Just friends." You said.

"Just friends?"

He nodded.
