Waking up to the feeling of Valentine's Day was supposed to be jolly. I was supposed to be hyped and happy, boy was I wrong. I mean, that was only because I didn't have a boyfriend ( Not that I was planning on having one) and I didn't like anyone in particular. So my conclusion is that Valentine's day sucks when you're single. Apart from the yucky, revolting meals we were being served at during lunch, today was quite normal. Class was hysterical and was a breathe through! With all these different topics about Valentine lovers, chocolates and people planning on pranking girls.I was astonished at how the teachers didn't plan on giving us notes or handing us any work. Well, during prep, Dylan sat on Coco's seat which I found irritable and wierd, because she didn't complain; like they planned it..

" Happy Valentines day" he said handing me a bunch of white peonies, smiling.

How did he know that peonies were my favourite flowers? No one knows that, not even my parents. Maybe it was a lucky guess... But he obviously is playing a prank on me.. I think

' Knock it off" i hissed

His smile faded

"Just being polite. At least have a little decency and take the flowers"

I took the peonies from him and placed them on my desk

"Thanks" i said flatly

" Anything for you" He smiled lightly

Why was he such a kiss up? I'm soo not gonna fall for him just because he is so hot and has a nice smile. That'd would be terrible

" You really don't know when you're not wanted" I sighed as I got on with my work

"What are you doing? We don't have any assignment" he chuckled

" Well, I'm doing something productive while you wally away your time.-" I paused for a second

"- You do realise that the Junior Exams are a matter of months away"

"Yeah, I know" he shrugged

"Then practice"

"Finished the prep book" he said flatly

" How is that possible?" I shook my head in disbelief

"I have my ways" he pursed his lips in a straight line

" Well, lucky you. Could you just let me finish mine?" I begged

Dylan didn't reply, he brought out his notebook and continued on the drawing he started three days ago. The class fell quiet, not even a single sound was made by anyone, until Dylan decided to poke my shoulder

"What?" I said aggresively

"Wow.. sorry, just wanted to borrow your pencil"

"Oh..." I said lowering my tone. I placed my pencil on his desk and went on with my work.

"Look, im sorry" he whispered

" I know you are" I said without looking up

" Can we start all over?"

I faced him and searched his eyes for what he was feeling. I could tell he really felt bad about everything he had done.

"Why not?" I said giving in

"Great-" he leaned towards me

"- Can you see the dude who pick's his nose? He's seating infront of Liz" He said looking at the short boy who could barely see over his desk.

"Yeah, Roland. Why?"

Dylan pointed at Roland's lower backside, which I didn't see the reason why until he motioned to look.
