chapter 1

                           i got into my car and drove down to meet my brother. we sat down and started talking. when i got home i was greeted by my parents i walked upstairs to my room and just looked around. i normally don't like to think because then it makes me realize how fucked up my life really is. my brother said i could come over to his place anytime. so i got up left a note on the fridge and left.

                         when i got there he was in the living room with a few of his other friends.

"heyy sis"

"hey"

"wats up, we just talked"

"oi i'm sorry am i interupting"

"oh no. sit"

"okay"

it looked like he was trying to say something but couldn't so i just started talking.

"so..."

"oh yeah i just wanted to talk. okay so i think that you should consider staying with me because mom and dad may not always be there and i want to make sure i am"

i had to think i mean it's not everyday a 11th grader gets invited to live with her brother and a bunch of his friends.

"so what you're really saying is that mom and dad asked you."

"yes. but i happily agree"

"do i have a choice"

"of course"

"fine okay, yeah, sure."

                          so the next day he and his friends helped me pack some of my stuff and i brought it over to my brothers house. i drove to school late because of that. when i got to school i went straight to the office and then to class. after school i went to basketball practice. coach told us the plays and then i left to my new home,my brothers flat.

"hey kat" says my brothers bestfriend jay.

"hey where's my brother"

"just getting decorations for the party"

"huh?"

"and speaking of party, your brother wants to know if you could umm you know like stay in your room tonight"

i blew out  a huff of air "fine, i got shit to do anyway."

"damn girl no need for cursing and shit"

"you just cursed"

"i'm in college i can do whatever the hell i please. aightt"

"whatever jay i'm going to my room, do not disturb. k?"

"alrighty ma'am" he joked.
