i finished my homework at around 12. and got thirsty so i went downstairs and got something to drink. the music from the party was booming. and there were sweaty guys everywhere. dancing, grinding, kissing. eck. i found my brother

"kat. what the hell are you doing out of your room. "

"sorry i just got thirsty" i yelled.

"go into my room and there should be some soda."

"why can't i just drink something down here."

"because everything here is probably spiked"

"okay"

                           i walked upstairs, i walked past jay's room to hear a girl moaning. ewwww. i ran down the hall to my brothers room. i grabbed the soda than walked to my room. only to be greeted by jay pushing the girl out of his room. "you were good babe. thanks"

"ewww. jay you're gross"

"you know you just want some of this too"

"yah no not really. good night"

"kat. wait" he followed me into my room. "kevin (my brother) never told me why you moved in. so why" he plopped down on my bed.

"my parents thought that i shouldn't be bymyself all the time so here i am i guess"

"ohhh. so uh party scene not really you?"

"do you really need to ask you've known me for a long enough time. it's not like my brother has to tell me to go upstairs"

"yah he's just protecting you. ya' know. there's a lot of college guys. and in college guys just hit it and quit it."

i 'pftt' he started again"i'm serious ya' know"

"you and my brother are both hipocrates. that's what you do. not every guy is like that. and you just 'hit it and quit it' with that one chick."

"yah, but thats different. if i had a hottie like you for a sister than i would be protective of her to."

i blushed. and than he left the room. i layed down. and turned over and went to sleep. in the morning i went to go meet my bestfriend tyler and my other bestfriend anna, who were now a proud couple. tyler,my brother, and jay were also close friends.

"hey guys, are you guys excited for the summer. cause i sure as hell am."

"hell yeah" they said in unison.

"so how's living with your bro"

"ok. i guess."

"guys, guess what" started anna

"what"

"i'm going to california for the first month of the summer" she stated gloomily.

"what's so bad about that"

"i won't see you guys for a whole months"

"ohhhhhhh. well we could skype and talk and text. anna it's not forever"

"i know but still."

"oh shit babe the movie starts in 45 minutes" said tyler.

"okay. well i love you kat.text me kay?" she gave me a kiss on the cheek and nodded.

                             It was finnaly monday and i go to school. excited for friday the last day before summer. Every day was the same routine. me going to school, basketball practice, homework, sleep. on friday anna said she was leaving that day so i decided to go over to her house to say goodbye. i decided to walk since, it was so close to my house. Tyler was also there. so when she left we decided to go to the diner. At the diner, i just sat there and studied my bestfiends face. Tyler and I have been friends since kinder.While Anna just got here. I looked a little to long, because he saw and gave me a crooked smile and asked what i was looking at. I just replied with a simple 'nothing'.
